"Love is a serious mental disease." ~ Plato

I wake up the next morning feeling please with the sight in front of me. My head rest gently on his chest, his arm is wrap around body and my legs are intertwine with his. I can't help but admire his features. He looks so peaceful and relax. For a moment I forget the heartless person that he allows everyone to perceive him to be. For a moment he looks simply benevolent, simply courteous...simply kind. I gaze at him as he sleeps as I continue to admire the way how his hair falls perfectly across his face, which I brush gently to the side, now revealing his sharp, handsome face. He looks so compassionate in his sleep, almost like a child, wondering if he is all cold, or if somewhere inside there's a warm place I can call home.
He opens his eyes, making me embarrass that he catches me staring.
"You look so beautiful in the morning."He compliments, running his hand through my long blonde hair. "I want to wake up next to you every morning for the rest of my life." He says, placing a kiss on my forehead.
"I like the sound of that." I respond, placing a soft yet passionate kiss on his lips. I wish this moment could last forever, but that's not possible since life is happening.
"You should go. My mom and friends will be here any minute now." I say, regretting that he has to leave.
"Can I see you later?" He asks and I shrug.
"I'll text and let you know later on." I'm pretty sure my mom and friends have something planned out for me when I return home, especially after something such as this happens.
"Laters babe." He says, placing a kiss on my lips. I watch as he make his way through the door, missing him the instant he left.
I can't bare to stay at this place for another minute. I miss my home. I miss sleeping in my own bed. I sigh as I notice persons walking to and from the hall.
"Elizabeth Rowe?" A male doctor says, looking at the documents in his hand as if he's seeking confirmation. I nod and he walks in.
"How are you doing today Miss Rowe?" He asks, as he check the readings on the different machine devices in the room.
"Um, okay I guess." I say bluntly.
"I'm just gonna do some checking if that's okay with you." He says, seeking my consent.
"Okay." And with that he shines a little flashlight in my eyes and throat, Listens to my heartbeat through his stethoscope and place swabs in both of my ears.
"Lie flat on your back." He says and I comply. "I'm going to touch your belly, please let me know if you feel any pain." He says and I nod.
He starts to touch different parts of my belly, while applying pressure. He then makes me lie on my belly while he repeats the process on my back.
"Well it seems everything is normal." He says, as he makes jottings on the documents in hand.
"Morning Liz, sorry I'm late." My mom says, rushing in with Jake and Emily right behind her.
"You can take her home now. She is doing great, everything is normal." The doctor says to my mom, making my mind scream in relief.
"Thanks doctor." My mom says, as he makes his way towards the door.
"Oh and please remember to sign the release form at the front desk." He states, and my mom nods.
"I brought you fresh clothes." Mom says, resting them across the bed. Emily then hands me the coffee that she bought for me. I take small sips as they all pack up the few stuff that I have with me at the hospital. Not wasting any time, I make my way to the hospital's female bathroom where I shower myself and gets dress.
