Staying away from Ethan is harder than I thought. He is literally everywhere; in my classes, along the hallway, the parking lot and it's even harder when he keeps staring at me. If I'm being honest, I stare at him too...A lot. Hopefully this will blow over in no time and my life can go back to normal. I am now seated in Mr. Lawrence's History class. Today is the day to turn in our essays.

"Remember only one essay will be selected to be placed on the school site. This will be seen on Friday. As for today's class, we will be discussing Slavery"

History class today is informative and interesting. We are learning about the triangular trade, slave revolts and many other interesting pointers. At the end of the class Mr. Lawrence give us topics to research so that the discussion will be more interactive for the next class.

"Jake! It feels like I haven't seen you in years" I joke as we collect our lunch.

"It's only one day!" He says, pulling my ear.

"So Liz, how are you? Emily told me about what you've been going through with Ethan. I must say wow though. The guy is HOT. He's a freaking high school model. You couldn't choose a better bad boy!" He joke and we all died in laughter.

"Hey! Your girlfriend is right here!" Emily says teasing Jake.

"I'm good and I didn't choose him! It just happened." I defend.

I start reflecting on the times Ethan and I spent together. I've seen a side to him that he compresses when he's around other people. The genuineness...the side that actually cares. The side that shows that he's simply human.

"This is really going to be hard." I sigh.

"You have us to make it easier" Jake says with a reassuring smile. I couldn't ask for better friends.

"We have Literature next." Emily said in a sympathetic tone.

"Liz how are you going to survive through this Romeo and Juliet cast!?"

"Omg. I totally forgot that. I want to die!"  How am I suppose to profess my love through lines to somebody that I'm in love with and can never have?

My heart's beating faster than a drum as I take a step closer to class. I'm thankful that Emily is here to help me get through this. We walk slowly down the hall and I dread each additional step that I have to take. I hold my head down just in case I am to run into Ethan along the hallway when I felt Emily's hands turning me around.

"Let us walk the other way." She blurts out, holding my hand and pulling me in the opposite direction.

I am puzzled as to why the class is literally right there and she wants us to turn all the way back to retrace and add more to our journey when I saw what she's trying to save me from. My heart felt as if it had been plunged with a knife. I couldn't stop the now pouring tears even if I try to. His lips is locked together with Regina's. They look like two horny teenagers making out in the hallway.
