Carly's POV

"I'm in love with you and I have been since the day I met you." I stare at him in shock. I let go of his hand and take a step back. "I told you that you weren't ready but you-"

"Why didn't you tell me? I've known you longer than I've known Michael so why didn't you tell me?"

"Because you were too infatuated with Michael to even notice that anyone else existed. You were so invested in Michael that I couldn't even carry a conversation without you bringing him up, so I pushed down all my feelings. I forgot I even had them until the day of that crash. I saw how broken you were and all I could think about was me holding you and telling that it was going to get better and that you don't need him to be happy. Then you left and things got messy again."

"If I would have known, things would be a lot different then they are now."

"They would because you never would have gone to Melbourne and you'd be a lot happier."

"He made me happy Cal."

"He's not anymore, he's just hurting you now."

"I-"

"You can't deny that."

"But you also can't ignore the fact that he can't remember me."

"So now we're back to this? It's been almost four months since that crash. He's obviously not going to remember you so why-"

"Stop talking." I say in a stern voice.

"You're too afraid to hear the truth, aren't you?"

"Just-"

"Admit it to yourself, he's not going to remember you and-" I can't hear anymore so I turn around and walk away from him. "Are you just gonna leave again?" I turn back around.

"If I stay any longer, you're most likely going to be six feet under when I'm done with you." I turn back around and walk out of his house, slamming the door behind me. I get in the car and my mom looks at me.

"How did it-"

"I just wanna go home." I say back to her. She starts the car and not another word is spoken between us.
