You put me in harm's way

Carly's POV

I stare blankly at Michael for a moment before snapping back into reality.

"What are you doing here?" I ask. 

"You weren't answering any of my calls or my text and I was worried about you."

"I didn't answer you because I don't want to see you. I had a good thing going on with Calum and you had to go and ruin it."

"It wasn't just me you know? You could have stopped it, but you didn't. It's not just my mess to clean up, it's yours too."

"If you hadn't called me or invited me over or kissed me, none of it would have happened! Now I have to break the heart of the man that I love."

"You loved me at one point."

"But that's in the past. Those feels are long gone now."

"Then why did you sleep with me?"

"Because you kissed me and confused me. It was a mistake that I'm never making again."

"You can't tell me that you didn't feel anything."

"I didn't. Now get the hell away from my house before I call the police."

"Carly I-"

"I said go Michael." He scoffs and walks away. I shut the door and walk back to the couch. I send Calum a quick text telling him to come over. I know what I have to do because keeping something like this would eat me alive. I wait a few minutes and go over what I'm going to say to him. I hear a car door shut and my heart starts to pound. I feel tears falling fast down my face and then I see the door starting to open. 

"Hey baby, how's your-what happened?" He quickly shuts the door and walks over to me. He grabs onto both of my shoulders and I look him in the eyes.

"I-I made a huge mistake. I would do anything to take it back." 

"What did you do?" 

"I-I slept with Michael." He takes his hands away from my shoulders and backs up. 

"You did what?" He asks, his eyes turning cold.

"I never meant for it to happen, it just did. I told myself I was never gonna do something like this and I thought that things were finally done with him and I. He was in a place where he was good and I was in a place were I was good and then I went to his house and he kissed me. I barely even remember what happened after that because it was such a mistake." I put my hand over my mouth and start crying more. I feel arms wrap around me and I look to see that it's Calum. 

"It's okay. I forgive you. I may be extremely mad at you, but I'm not going to let it stop me from loving you. It was clearly a mistake that you never intended on making or you wouldn't be so distraught over it." 

"Do you really forgive me?" I ask. looking into his eyes.

"Yes. I know it's probably not the thing a normal person would do, but we're not a normal couple." I hold onto him tightly. I can't believe he forgave me so easily. I know that if he cheated on me, I'd probably never want to see him again. That's one of the many things I love about Cal. He has such a big heart and would do anything for the people he loves. "I have to go to the studio, do you wanna come with?" He asks as he pulls away from me. 

"I'd love to." I say with a smile. He takes his thumb and wipes away my tears. He then presses his lips softly to mine and I know that I'm back where I belong. I don't belong with Micheal anymore, I belong right here with Calum. We pull apart and leave the house. We pull into the parking lot of the studio and I see Michael's car parked out front. "Cal?"

"Yeah?" 

"Are you sure you can be in the same room with Michael right now?"

"Yeah I'm sure. Everything will be fine." He smiles and get's out of the car. I quickly get out as well and catch up to him. We walk in and I see Rose sitting down and it makes me wonder if Michael has told her yet, or if he's ever going to. I quickly shake the thought and catch up to Calum who seems to be looking for something or someone. We walk into a room and I see Micheal, Luke, and Ash messing around and then they see Cal and I. Luke and Ash smile and wave and I shyly wave too. Has he not told anyone? Micheal then stands up and Calum puts his hand on his shoulder and smiles. I thought it might be a good thing, but man was I wrong. Within seconds, Calum's fist makes contact with Michael's face and Cal turns away and shakes out his hand. 

"What the fuck Cal?" Ashton asks as he goes to help Micheal. I stand there completely in shock. Cal goes to his him again, but Luke and I grab onto him. Luke then steps in front of him and begins to talk.

"Okay I don't know what the hell happened between you two, but doing things like this isn't going to solve anything." 

"He slept with Carly." I look at Michael and see his face turn from pain to shocked. I then look at the door and see Rose standing there. 

"He did what?" I can see the tears in her eyes. I am really the shittiest person on this earth. 

"Your boyfriend and my girlfriend slept together last night."

"Cal I-"

"No, let her hear it. She needs to know the truth because it's pretty obvious this douche wasn't going to tell her." I see her head snap in Michael's direction. 

"You weren't going to tell me?" She asks, looking him straight in the eyes.

"I thought that it'd be better if you didn't know." She then looks at me.

"Did it mean anything to you?"

"No. It was a mistake that I'm going to regret for the rest of my life. Rose I never-" She then looks back at Michael.

"Did it mean something to you?" He looks at me and doesn't answer. I look at Calum and see the rage in his eyes. I grab onto his arm, but he doesn't break his contact with Michael. "I never want to see you again." She turns to leave, and that's when he finally speaks.

"Rose, wait. We can talk about this." She turns back to face him. 

"There's nothing to talk about. You and I are over. Get your shit out of my house and take the ring back too." I see her take a ring off her finger and then she throws it on the ground. Did he ask her to marry him and then sleep with me?
