Wishing doesn't do much,
Like hoping but on a whim.
Trying to catch something
That might not be there.
Wishing is different than falling,
cause you can control it.
Wish upon a shooting star,
the star's falling, no stop.
Falling isn't about love,
Not all the time.
Falling is like flying,
But it's scarier.
When you fly, you don't look down,
But falling you can't see,
Like a sinkhole or a deep pit,
Swallowing you and all you can do is feel it.
Wishing is better than falling,
Cause once you fall,
There's no going back.
But I leapt off the edge.
