"You're like me,
You're young and pretty,
Intelligent, and so sure,
Me but so much more.
I worry that one day
Your mind will go astray
And everyone will notice your beauty
And take you somewhere far away.
I worry you're in danger
Of all the thirsty strangers,
I worry that you won't know
When it's a good time to go.
You don't see it,
I have the same spirit,
But you're beauty increases,
I watch, it's ceaseless."
It's a compliment,
Words of achievement,
And even though it's also a curse,
I'm happy to finally hear those words.
