I wish the stars,
For one fateful night,
Could be the same for both us,
Our paths intertwined.
I wish I could stop thinking
About you and your eyes,
And the small conversations
That held me paralyzed.
I wish I could see
Through all of your lies,
And get a real answer
On who it is you fantasize.
I wish I could undo my feelings
And unravel my ties,
The ones that bound me to you
And make me feel alive.
I wish I could share this with you,
To have a fire ignite,
But I'm afraid of your rejection
And feelings of smite.
