"So what's up with you two?" Imogen asked from across me, nibbling on a fry.

My exams ended yesterday and today being a Saturday, Imo dragged me out of bed, telling me to get a life aside going to school and learning.

She was right, I needed to get a life outside of school and home. I hardly have real friends except Raina who's in Las Vegas and we don't get to see each other, we are all living our lives.

Imo insisted we go out and have a sister bonding time, something we rarely do. After deliberating on what to do, she suggested we go to the spa and then shop for clothes and shoes and get a new makeover at the salon when we're done.

Now, we're at this bistro we just discovered after having a full day today. It was really nice and I want us to do it over and over again if we had the time to considering our busy lives. I've found a sister I never had in her, someone who I can do girly things with and the feeling amazing.

"Who and I?" I have a feeling I know who she is referring to, someone I don't want to remember.

"Rex, what's going on between you two."

Though I didn't want to remember him, his name didn't affect me. I decided that night never to let him get to me, I hated what he did and I don't want to relive it either so its best if I forgot about it if entirely.

It doesn't hurt if you don't remember it right? "Uh nothing, why are you asking?"

"I'm not blind Nae Nae if the others are, I can see how you two are around each other. There's this tension between you two-"

"I don't mean to be rude cutting you off but I'm serious there's nothing between us."

"Are you going to deny? I saw him leave your room like two days ago and he has called me by your name on more than two occasions, now blurt it out already." She smiled, "are you two an item?"

"Hell no! There's nothing like that going on. He's only my brother who's kinda looking out for me that's all." I can even feel my lie doesn't add up but who cares? He is only my brother if he accepts it or not, nothing more nothing less.

"Okayyy if it isn't anything like that like you say which I don't believe you, do you have any love interest? A boyfriend or a girlfriend maybe?" She asked still pressing the subject that I wanted it to be dropped badly.

"Nope no love interest, my books are literally my boyfriend's as of now. I just want to get the degree and make daddy proud." Imo nodded understanding me. "What about you?"

I wanted to steer the conversation away from me. I also want to know about her, what she does now aside working. I secretly wanted to know if she has anyone she's going out with who is helping her rebuild her life.

"Same here, I'm currently not seeing anyone at the moment but I have my eyes on someone."

"Who?"

"My first love." The glint in her eyes when she inquired about Rex and I was gone. Her eyes shown sadness and I instantly regretted asking her.

"Its alright, you don't need to go further. Lets talk about something else how's-"

"No Nae Nae, I want to talk about it. Its fine, I have to get it off my chest. I need to tell someone cause its killing me."

"It it will help you feel better and lighter, go ahead."

"Yeah it will and thank you in advance for agreeing to listen to it." She said laughing slightly.

"Anytime."

"He was our neighbour back in Summerlin north, he was your regular looking bad boy with ocean blue eyes, his perfect well sculptured nose and body that is to die for yet he was too good at heart, he never once mistreated me or cheated on me when we hooked up in our beach house in Aruba one summer which developed into a relationship that was the envy of many girls back in school, he was the most sought after boy then and we were a very happy couple till he graduated from high school, he was two years ahead of me," she paused and fan her eyes before continued, "that was when our perfect relationship started to crumble and it was all my fault!"
