Michele's POV
Flipping it unconsciously, I stared at the earring in between my fingers wondering when I'm ever going to meet its owner again.
I met one beautiful lady in sin city close to two years now, that was the last time I went there. I must say she really captured my heart that night not only with her beautiful and divine face but her feistiness.
Girls like that are who I adore, they can defend themselves if the need be not these meek ladies I see strutting around like they're walking eggs. I like my girls, feisty, bold, beautiful and shy and she's all that.
I let out a deep sigh, it's a pity though. As much as I want to see her again and never let her out of my sight because of how smitten I am with her, a love at first sight, she's isn't going to remember me.
Or worse, everything that happened between us that night. I was in a disguise at that time, work and personal business were taking a heavy toll on me and I decided it was better if I went to Las Vegas to at least have some sort of closure and end that chapter of my life.
I did have the closure and on my way back, that was when I met this lady who not only has captured my heart but keeps haunting me with her beautiful face in my dreams.
I remember every feature of her face so well, those piercing blue eyes of hers, thick lips, her well sculptured thin nose and that smile, though it wasn't broad and prolonged, it knocked me off my feet.
Our brief moments together are so sacred to me and like the teachings of Jesus Christ is to Christians, I've kept it in my heart and mind, reliving it any given moment I can.
I need to do something about it. I'm done keeping those memories of two years ago in my heart, they're sacred, yeah but not enough cause all I see is her beautiful face, that amazing smile that melts heart and that feisty lady I want more of.
Yeah I am going to get more of her because I'm going to find her in every possible place even if I have to rake down every building in Sin City, I will and when I find her, I'm going to make her mine forever!
I put the earring back in the jewellery box I've kept in and stuffed it in the inside pocket of my suit, hearing my mobile phone ring again.
It's been ringing persistently and it's about time I pick the call up amd find out who the hell is disturbing my peace this Saturday morning.
"Hello, who's this?"
"Son its your father."
"Oh dad, I didn't look at the ID, sorry."
"I know you didn't, let me cut the chase. Your mother wants you to come over, family time."
"Tell her I said thank you, I'm good."
"C'mon son, just this once. We hardly see you, you're always on and on about work. Take a break."
"This isn't about work father, it's different."
"Then what is it?"
"Something personal and I'd rather we don't talk about it."
"Why do you keep pushing us out of your life? Have we not been better parents to be in your life?"
"Don't pull the guilt card because it's not going to work today."
"I'm not pulling anything because what I'm saying is true."
"You have been the best parents anyone can ask for and I'm entirely grateful but now I'm an adult, I want to live my life my way and do things my way. It doesn't mean I'm pushing you all out, its just that things surrounding you two give me bitter memories that I'd rather be away from you and not relive them."
