Michele's POV
Pulling into their driveway, I got out of the car after turning off the ignition. I looked around the mansion and realised it was the same as before but not so same because now, the lady of my dreams lives here.
I sighed, I hope there's no family member in the house because I can't stand those people. They make me sick, mother and children.
With long strides, I made my way towards the front door and pressed the doorbell. I removed my shades from my face and waited for the door to be opened and hopefully not by any family member.
After a minute or two, the door opened. My facial expression changed from bland to surprise when the person who answered the door came out. It wasn't any family member but the lady of my dreams.
I took my time to assess her. She was beautiful as always and I noticed she had changed immensely compared to the first time I saw her. She now looked healthier and more graceful.
Clearly, I wasn't the only one doing the taking in, Monae also was. Her eyes slowly moved over my body and stayed put on my face.
Her not so large blue eyes widen as they took me in, her lips were slightly parted and her cheeks were flushed too. It was really cute seeing her reaction, it was almost like she was drooling. I would have taken it as that if I didn't know how much of a tough girl she is who isn't easily swayed by looks.
She did look surprised to see me but searching her face, it held no recognition. Monae didn't remember me the slightest and it was understandable, I was in disguise then.
"Miss." I snapped my fingers in her face to jolt her from her stare, it was getting intense. It wasn't like I did mind it, I loved that she was checking me out. I appeal to her like she does to me.
"Uh—yeah." She said unconsciously and looked embarrassed because she was still in her daze.
"Won't you let me inside?" I asked her. The sun wasn't that scorchy outside. It didn't look good me standing out here and having a conversation with her.
I didn't hear what she said though she muttered something. I was stiffling a smile, it was really cute seeing her like this and after a long time.
Monae opened the door wider to let me in. I walked inside and took off my jacket. While doing so, I felt her gaze still on me. I pretended I wasn't aware she was looking at me and hanged it on the coat rack.
She then guided me to the living room. I had been there so many times on my visit to Mr Winchester when his family wasn't living here yet I behaved like it was my first time being in the house.
"Can I get you water, juice or anything?"
"Nope I'm good." I assured her while looking at her. She was trying so hard not to seem distracted yet I could still see it. She was a blushing mess and couldn't look at me in the eyes when she spoke.
I let out a small smile seeing how much of a distraction I am to her.
"Not to sound rude but who're you and who're you looking for?" This time around, she looked at me in the face and inquired curiously.
Her question didn't catch me off guard. I expected it because it was bound to be asked, I would too if I were in her shoes.
"The owner of this house."
"Are you sure you know him?"
"Yes I do and very well."
"I disagree with that answer, if you really knew daddy, you wouldn't be here looking for him by this time. He's at work."
