Part ten

Monae's POV

I am glad beyond anything to be on bed at the moment. Today was one hell of a day both at home and in school. 

There's this two weeks exams we're writing which consists of both theory and practicals which is eating my sanity out and draining my energy each blessed day.

I've been going beyond my usual study time to study so hard and pass this exams, its very crucial for my degree and I know I'm going to pass no two ways about that.

On the good side, we will be done with it once and for all in two days which I can't wait, gosh no one ever told me school was this hell of a punishment, remind me never to send my children to school. 

Home wasn't any better, Mrs Winchester is doing everything she can to piss me off to my breaking point where I react and say something I'll regret so she gets something to base on and send me out of this house cause I've been all goody two shoes and never giving her any bad reason to send me packing. 

Today for instance, she accused me of stealing her jewelry when she sent me into her room yesterday to fetch her phone which she left behind when coming downstairs. 

To cut it short, she disgraced me in front of her friends calling me a thief who's done nothing but to steal from the family who took pity on me, giving me a home and looking after me as their own. 

Once again, she didn't miss the chance to throw in my face, the fact that I'm a charity case to them. I didn't give her the satisfaction of seeing my tears, I smiled politely at her all through out, irking her more. 

You know the verse that says God takes care of the fatherless? Well He came to my rescue, Imo couldn't take her mother's behaviour anymore and went in search of it in both our rooms, she found it tucked behind her closet, leaving everyone to see how innocent I am. 

She glared at me in anger, her eyes shown she had been defeated but the look she gave me before storming off tells me her next move is going to cost me, she is going to hurt me where it hurts the most like she's hurting after being exposed in front of not only her  family but friends. 

Now I'm on bed, laying on my stomach, trying to get some sleep. I'm so tired from standing all day in school, today's exams was practicals and I think I need a massage like now, to soothe my aching body.

I was in the middle of drifting off to sleep. You know that part where you're almost in sleep land yeah, that's it when I felt the sheets being removed off me.

Turning around, I came face to face with a smiling Rex. He started at my exposed thighs again, licking his lips. 

He covered my mouth before I could open it and scream. "Shy, baby don't scream no one's going to hear you anyway."

"What do you want!?" I quickly got off the bed.

 He bent down beside me, bringing his hand To my face and caressed my cheeks. "To finish what we started."

"What nonsense are you talking about?" I cringed at his touch on my cheeks, making me back away from him.

"Cut the dumbness Nae, you know what I'm talking about it." He snapped at me.

"Then let me remind you I told you I don't want to talk about."

"Why don't you? Its important for me, let's talk about it and resolve everything that's between us-"

"Sorry to disappoint but I don't care so leave my room right this minute before I do something we both will regret."

"Why should there be regrets when I can make you feel good, so good you're going to want more."
