Chapter 24

"I am sorry... I am so so so sorry!!" she said while sobbing and bringing me back from my revelation.

"Kriya... don't!! Just let us be where we are and we'll talk everything later, not now" I told her while wiping her tears and she nodded. I pulled her towards the couch and made her sit in my lap then had a real good look at her. She was beautiful in every way. I took a strand and placed it behind her ear and spoke...

"I love you so much"

She leaned her forehead to mine and responded "I love you more".

Having her back to myself... this close was stupefying.

"If you are hungry then the lunch is ready... I prepared it myself" I said and she took in the surroundings of our home. I think she was impressed.

"I don't wanna die so soon"

Okay!! I thought too soon.

"Oh what a man gotta do"

"Hahahaha let me just take a bath then we'll die together okay"

"Can I join?" I asked mischievously.

"Hmm... judging by the looks..." she grazed her fingers through my hair "and the scent" she came near neck and breathed in causing me gulp "I think you already had yours so.... No"

"Please" I pouted and stuck out my outer lip.

"Maybe tomorrow, now let me go" she said and jumped of my lap.

"I am coming" I said and she started running and I ran behind her. Her laughter filled my heart and my home.

It was so good to have her back and it wasn't awkward at all which I was dreading. It only took one look to forget everything and love each other like mad people.

While she was in the shower I started to set up the dining table.

I placed the wares on the table then went to take a thin vase and put her orchids in it and placed on the table. Then I got the chocolate cake out but kept it covered and then just waited for her to be with me as I sat on the living area's couch again.

Few minutes later I heard the shower turn off and she was out wearing a robe and drying her hair with a towel. I whistled this time while looking at her and the blush that crept on her cheeks was so luscious!!!

She made her way to our bedroom and I got up to follow her. I couldn't miss her getting ready session today at any cost.

I entered the room and she stared me with wide eyes...

"I have to change first"

"Yeah I know I am not stopping"

"Swayam!!"

"I'll just turn and wont peek I promise"

"Ha ha funny... out now"

"Okay but after this..." I went to her closet and pulled out a top which I absolutely loved on her. It was peach in color, almost transparent and had ruffled sleeves.

"I want in... so get dressed fast. I will be out here only"

"Lurker"

"Nope... Lover"

She closed the door to get dressed and I waited impatiently at the door.

Moments later she opened and she was looking absolutely gorgeous in that top and black jeans. I entered the room and took my place on the bed to watch her. She stood in front of the mirror and started getting adorned. Little dangling earrings, an eye liner which she scrubbed twice to get it perfectly winged, her lip balm and at last a perfume. She then held up hair to tie into a messy bun and then turned towards me.
