CHAPTER 40

FIONA POV:

Next day while driving to college dany has said that her friend was excited about future date, i am also supposed to be excited but i felt nothing like nothing at all, my mind is full of thoughts about samrat, why did he suddenly yell at me? was there something bothering him? is he stressed about upcoming match? stupid me i should have gone with him yesterday, now i lost the chance to talk to him since he oh so angrily walked away from me, what should i do now? am i really doing the right thing? ignoring him like this, it doesn't feel right but i can't seem to find other solution than this, it hurts me that i have to do all this against my feelings but i also can't see pam getting hurt. i was in deep thinking when dany parked car in front of faculty building, i groaned internally looking at the building, now i have to face samrat, i sighed stepping out of car.

We waited for pam before going to class, submitted the group assignment to Ms. Rose and went to library to collect the notes, samrat and aedion left first as they had to practice for the next matches, whole day samrat looked gloomy, when ever i tried to catch his eye, he would turn away, i sighed deeply packing bags as we decided to go greet max.

Jermy was humming happily as we walked to swimming club "i see someone is in good mood" i said looking at jermy, he smiled at me "i feel good" he said again humming, 

"so did you two patch up? what did he say?" i asked eagerly "we just made up" he said rubbing the back of his neck, 

"still, i want details jerm" i said making him blush a little "i told him that i will try more and will stay strong for us and i'm telling you he was totally happy" he said with a smile on his face, 

"ohhh, good job man" i said patting his shoulder, "i think it's a good thing thing that i lost match, i get to see him now" he said, "really!! soo cute" i cooed trying to pull his cheeks, "fiona" he gasped running away trying to avoid me, "jerm" i called running after him, i gave up when he ran too fast for me to catch up, everyone laughed at us, i frowned at him to which he stick his tongue out playfully.

We met up with max, he has the final competition just before the college fest so brady will be having a hell of a work in the club also in his architecture department, poor brady atleast he has his love by his side to take care of him. We were going to lunch and asked brady to join us, he was hesitant looking at jermy, "let's go eat" jermy insisted, Max was more that happy that he got to eat out side of campus.

We went to the campus back corner restaurant, we have become a regular visitors here, we visited soo often that deryl who's working here knew all our names, "i feel like coming to life again" max said as the hot soup, bacon and boxty that we have ordered arrived at our table, 

"enjoy" deryl smiled placing dishes before us, "thank you" pam replied as we all got ready to dig in, 

"why?" i asked max tasting the hot soup, as always it was soo delicious, 

"hm..this is soo delicious" dany hummed with her mouth full of food, 

"this guy here won't let me eat food in the name of diet" he said sipping his soda, 

"careful max he's my man" jermy said making brady blush, 

"ohhhh" we all shouted at once, 

"guys" kaal said showing other tables, everyone were looking at us, "sorry" kaal said to them, 

"my eyes are burning, ahh...i can't bare to see them" max said rubbing his eyes, 

"why? burning with jealousy?!" brady countered making all laugh at them, 

"get yourself a girl and she'll rub your burning eyes for you" jermy said laughing at him. We all attacked the food with full force that it was all gone in few minutes, sam would've loved this i thought as the combination of mashed potatoes and the butter melted in my mouth.

We attended the afternoon session lab before packing our bags eager to go home. while driving back home dany said no informed me that she will be helping me with dress and make up since it's my first date, "really" i rolled my eyes at her not at all interested about date, "come on aren't you excited? it's your first date" she said cheerfully, "ohh this is soo exciting" i said sardonically to which she rolled her eyes.

After dinner i told my mom about the blind date, she was excited, she kissed me on cheek and said that she's happy and that i should enjoy like every other teenager.

We became busy with the college works, with the fest and the exams getting near we were all getting worked up over the lab works, assignments and studies, we spent more time in library tutoring each other, after tutoring hours boys would leave for the practice and we three would go to ricky with aedion to help seniors at registering desk, they gave us a identity card as staff member and showed us how to register students and instructed us how to pursue students to join our university.

Daily after classes we would go to library and then we would go to ricky then atlast we would go home with soo much tiredness, we didn't even had time to sit and joke around, samrat has become soo busy, we didn't even exchange small messages like before, it's like we've stopped talking ages ago and it's a little awkward when we actually exchange few greetings, everytime i look at him, a small voice in the back of my mind asks if i am doing the right thing. The only good thing in all of this mess is that pam has grown close to him, they both talked more often and they sat together in lunch almost every day.

Dany has told me that my blind date is from our university and that he's someone i knew, i rolled my eyes at her "just tell me dany or i am leaving" i said unbuckling my seat belt, she came to drop me home, she was soo excited and was talking about this unknown person continuously, "okay sorry sweets, he doesn't want you to know about him just yet, he said he wants to meet you directly" she said giggling a little, 

"seriously dany" i sighed, "atleast give me his contact number"  

"why curious eh?" she asked winking at me which irritated me, "okay, i'm leaving" i said opening the car door, "come on sweets, don't be angry" she said, "i am not" i called back entering my house.

I felt exhausted, after dinner i went to my room and fell on my bed feeling really tired and was immediately pulled in to sleep.
