CHAPTER 59

I woke up with a headache and didn't leave bed till mom shouted for breakfast, after doing routine, i came back to my room and had a long shower, i sat to get some studying done then i started getting calls from max, dany and pam, since morning i didn't talk to anyone, i just stared at my vibrating phone not in mood to talk, everytime my phone rang i half expected see samrat's name on flashing on it.

I was sitting on reading table looking at my mobile when my mom came into my room "sweety, what are you doing?" she asked closing door behind her, "yeah?"  

"max called me just now, he says you're not answering his calls" she said looking concerned, "oh really! my mobile.... i forgot to charge it" i lied 

"is everything okay? are you two fighting?" she asked sitting on the edge of my bed, 

"no mom we're fine" i said turning to face her, "sweety" she started, i got annoyed i know she's just worried but i am not in a mood for her speech so i cut in 

"mom we're really fine, don't worry" i said, "good" she sighed, 

"i'll go back to study" i said turning around, "yeah, don't over do it" she said squeezing my shoulders, i nodded smiling at her.

After mom left i opened chat room and messaged everyone saying sorry about my mobile's low battery, max immediately replied asking soo many questions and i answered them with simple yes and ok's. 

I called pam to talk about exam and then sat to study, i totally concentrated on books before me only moving to eat and drink, before i knew the time it was getting dark, max called me asking to take care of myself,  he don't have exam tomorrow, we are of different branches so we have exams in alternate days, i assured him that i will and again went back to study.

Next day we all met in parking lot wishing good luck to each other, i feel soo nervous, no matter how much i study, it still feels like i have left out something and i can never feel confident enough to attend exam without feeling the uncomfortable stirring in my stomach.

Pam, jermy and i are in same hall, jermy was the first to complete the exam, after warning bell i handed out paper and came out feeling relieved "still 4 more to go" jermy groaned as i met him outside, i sighed sitting beside him and waited for pam, we all gathered outside the main hall talked about exam and then took leave.

"it's been a while since we got to ride together" dany said starting the car, since max have exam tomorrow i didn't want to disturb him so i told him that i would go home with dany, "i know right" i said smiling at her, we talked about random things all the way and i felt good being able to spend time with dany like before.

In one stressful week we have completed all the final exams, after last exam i came out of hall feeling soo relieved, i felt like a invisible burden lifted off of my head, all week i didn't get good sleep, because of exam tension also because of samrat, he seemed to be maintaining mute mode, i too didn't mind and tried to ignore as much politely as i can.

We all decided to go out to eat, it's been a while since we all ate together, brady and max were missing since they have last exam tomorrow, we ordered simple and light food, while eating aedion mentioned about our trip plan, suddenly everyone got excited, i really needed some change of atmosphere. we all planned to meet and talk about trip tomorrow. 

"so what's up with you and samrat, i saw you two ignoring each other" dany asked driving back home, samrat and i didn't even exchange greetings now and it was soo awkward that others too saw it, i stayed silent thinking of how to answer her, 

"i want to tell you something" she said glancing towards me, "samrat had a crush on you" dany rushed out, she said it so fast i thought i heard wrong,
