*Souline's POV

„Souline.. you really don't get it?" he sighed. „I like you. I really like you Soul."

He likes me?

"You mean like.." I didn't find the right words.

"Like more than just just a friend." he finished my sentence.

Oh. my. god. What do I do? WHAT DO I DO? No one ever confessed they're feelings for me.. I mean face to face, like this. How do I react? I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.. WHAT TO SAY... Do I even like him? I mean I guess I kinda do. I know I do. I just don't know.. it's too much.. I'm not good at this..that's probably the reason why I'm still single.. I'm just bad with showing my emotions.

"You know you can just tell me if you don't feel the same way. Just friendzone me, it's fine." he tipped his foot up and down. "It would be much better than the silent treatment."

"I'm sorry, I just don't know what to say.. I have never experienced someone being so honest towards me with their feelings. I'm just in shook kinda..I'm bad at expressing my feelings." I admitted.

"I should've just kept quiet and not say anything. I'm sorry." he let his head fall down into his hands.

"Don't say that."

"I think I just ruined our friendship." he let his upper body fall down next to me on the couch holding his hands in front of his face.

"The only thing you ruined right now is the chance for other guys to get to know me." I laughed.

He removed his hands from his face to look at me. A smile forming on his face.

"Wait that means you.." he stopped his sentence.

"Like you." I blushed while smiling.

"Me? You like me?" he sat up.

"No, Daniel I have a crush on myself. Of course you, you idiot." I punched him playfully.

The biggest smile grew on his face.

"I don't know what to say right now I just really want to kiss you." he looked down at his hands for a second before he looked back up. "Can I?" he politely asked and that's when I knew I really was falling for him. I have never met someone like him. Any other guy would've just kissed me and Daniel asked for permission. He asked for permission? That's the way you show a woman you have respect for her.

I slowly nodded my head to show him I'm fine with him kissing me. Again, the biggest smile grew on his face and he slowly leaned in, grabbing my cheeks with both hands and kissed me. A soft kiss with so much passion sending sparks trough my whole body.

Suddenly the lights turned on, making both of us flinch and stop the kiss immediately.

"Oh my. I'm so sorry.. I didn't mean to interrupt you two. I was actually looking for you Soul, but it can wait. Again sorry. Just continue with whatever you two were doing." Jack turned around to walk back inside.

"I'm going to kill him. It's our first kiss and he ruins it." Daniel said kissing my forehead.

"So, are you going to tell me what's going on between you and jack?" I took one of his hands.

"I guess, jealousy got the best of me." he laid down on one of the pillows on the couch. "I felt like there was something going on between the two of you, even if it's totally insane, because Jack's happily in a relationship with Gabbie." he played with my fingers.

If only he knew. I wouldn't quite say 'happily'.. rather 'happily falling apart', but it's not my business to tell.

"Just to make it clear. I've been hanging out with you almost every single day for a month straight not him. There's no need to worry and you just said it. He's in a happy relationship. He has a family."

„You know, they always say: The curls get the girls. Got scared for a second and even thought about getting a perm." he made me laugh.

„Bet they never told you about guys with ocean blue eyes and how they get all the girls."

Daniel just smirked and grabbed my hand while standing up.

„We should probably go back inside."

„Yeah, we really should." I got up with Daniel's help.

When we walked back inside, a part of the group was already playing a game while the other half was snacking and chatting. Daniel gave me a kiss on the cheek and then went over to join the game. I decided to talk to Jack who was busy opening a beer for himself.

„You we're looking for me?" I tapped on his shoulder.

„Oh Soul. Yes. Should we go over to the table? I think it's more comfortable there than us standing here." he suggested.

„Sure."

We sat down across from each other.

„So. First of all I'm sorry for telling the girls about it. I just guessed that they already know and we kinda started talking about you and then it just slipped out." he apologized.

„I mean I'm kind of mad at you for that, but I could've just warned you to begin with. So at the end of the day, it's my fault not yours. We just haven't seen you lately, I didn't expect you to show up anytime soon, especially not today." I took a sip of my drink.

„Why not?" he questioned me.

"Had the feeling you and Gabbie aren't on best terms. At least it seemed like it when you were talking to her on the phone this morning."

„Oh, that. Yeah well I kind of forgot about an appointment she had and I was supposed to watch Lavender, but Gabbie and I are good. She actually wanted me to join you guys today." he smiled at me and I wasn't sure if that smile meant they're really fine or he's just a good liar.

"Oh, I'm glad to hear. Well, it was nice talking to you, but I would really love to join the others now." I took my cup in my hand and got up.

"Wait, so are you and Daniel a thing now?" he grabbed my arm standing up, so I would face him.

As soon as I felt Jack grab my arm, my eyes turned into Daniel's direction. I hoped he wasn't watching this, but he was. I could tell he was mad, but I also knew he trusted me.

„Jack." I paused, removing my arm from his grip. "I don't see how this matters right now and I don't think I'm the one you should be asking. Daniel's one of your best friends. Talk to him. I don't think you have been doing that a lot lately." I smiled and with that I walked away.
