I had to turn off the phone after that. I just wanted to see the threads to some of the comments and this is what I get. I look down at Violet, who's playing with her puzzle.
"Your mom got jokes." I say.
Violet looks up at me. "Mama..."
"Yes, mama." I reply.
"Mamamama..." She exclaims, putting one of the pieces into her mouth.
I lean over, swiftly taking the piece from her before she could devour it. She chokes, I die.
Ariana came into the living room, tossing her phone into my lap. "Do you want to control your dogs?"
"Not really, no." I reply.
Vanessa and Katya are old news to me. I'm trying to fix my relationship with my baby mom, and they're trying to sabotage it.
Ariana groans, plopping down onto the opposite side of the couch. I give a sincere frown.
"Mama!" Violet exclaims, standing up from her spot on the floor. She makes her way over to Ariana, who picks her up and pulls her into her lap.
"Well your pets are on the loose and they're kind of pissing me off." Ariana grumbled.
"I'll take care of it." I place my hand on my chest in an 'i got this' motion.
"You better have it." She stressed.
I watch as she occupies herself with Violet, who was all over the place at this point. Watching her grow this last year has been nothing short of amazing. She's super energetic too, so that's a plus.
