Ariana 💕

I've been singing "Friend Like Me" from Aladdin for almost an entire week. But it's probably because Violet decided she wanted to watch it again yesterday. So while she watched it, I made dinner. She continued watching it while she ate, then went to sleep after that.

Now, we're on our way to Staples Center for the Nuggets vs. Lakers game. Violet sat in her car seat, nodding her head along to the music I was playing, which was literally just the Aladdin soundtrack. I sat up against the steering wheel, checking my mirrors before signaling a left turn.

The outfit for today is a gray tube top, black ripped skinny jeans, a black jean jacket and gray/black Nike Air Force 1. My hair was up in a neat bun and I was wearing shades. Yes, it's an afternoon game. Yes it's 82 degrees out here...and I'm wearing jeans. Let me have this crackhead moment, please.

Violet was in her dads jersey, with a jean skirt and white converse. Her hair was up in two poofs with a gold and purple ribbon on each one.

Before Kyle started messing with these women, we would joke about how Violet takes more after him. I'd tell him about some things she'd do and say that sounded like something he would. He obviously wasn't surprised because she looks exactly like him.

I haven't directly come out my mouth and told him we would be at the game today. I kinda just told him I'd think about it. So now here we are....at 11:45AM....going to a Lakers game. If this is what the life of being an NBA players baby mama is, while having a totally separate career, then I don't know.

When we reach the arena, I take Violet out the car, I carry her on my left hip as we enter the arena. We make our way to the suite that we're in. With 6 other people in it as well. One of them was Kyle's agent, Leon.

"Ari? Hey!" He exclaimed, hugging me.

"Hi Leon." I reply. "How are you?"

"Good. How about yourself?" He asked.

"I'm getting there." I say, shifting Violet on my hip.

"That's good." He said, looking toward Violet. "Hey Vi."

She waves, laying her head on her forearm that's on my shoulder. I grin and walk her down to the seats. I sit her down and get comfortable in my own seat. The team would be coming out soon, so I guess that's cool. The sooner this game starts, the sooner we can get back home.

I walk beside Leon as we make our way to the team locker room area. The smile I had on my face while I was talking to Leon slowly faded as I caught a glimpse of Kyle hugging Winnie and kissing her. It made me shudder a little, but I put my game face back on.

Maybe he didn't see me when he dapped up Leon, but right when he did, his eyes widened.

"Ari? I didn't know you were coming." He exclaimed.

"Mmm, yeah. But, then again, I didn't tell you I was." I shrug.

He walks toward me to give me a hug, but I hand Violet to him. He gives me a face but I look away, shifting the bag on my shoulder and folding my arms. I look over at Winnie, who's looking elsewhere.

I give a small smile. "Hi Winnie."

She looks over at me shocked. "Uh...h-hi."

"How are you? How's the modeling going?" I ask.

"G-Good." She looks over at Kyle cautiously.

"That's good to hear." I exclaim. "I heard you signed with Puma. How's that going?"

She gaped at me for a second, before answering my question. "Um, great. I guess so."

The woman looked terrified honestly. She must've been really confused as to why I was talking to her.

"That's awesome. Keep up the good work." I grin.

I look over at Kyle, who's looking at me curiously. He looked like he wanted to say something, but I grabbed Violet instead.

"Ariana." He exclaimed.

"You guys have a good rest of the day." I give a fake smile.

I was turning to walk away when I hear him telling Winnie that he'd meet up with her shortly. I make my way to my car with him hot on my tail.

"Ari, what was that?" He asked, following right behind me.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I exclaim, opening the back door to my Range.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about." He pressed on.

I buckle Violet into her seat, closing the door after. I was getting into the drivers seat and about to close the door when he stopped me from doing so.

"Why did you press her like that?" He asked.

"I was just having a conversation with her. Relax." I exclaim.

"You were pressing her." He said.

"You obviously don't know the difference between pressing someone and making conversation. I was just talking to her like it was a normal conversation." I explain, just in case he truly didn't understand.

"I can't believe you." He chuckled, in slight anger.

"I honestly don't understand what's wrong with having a conversation." I say in confusion.

"You don't get it." He said. "She doesn't like you. Why would you try to converse with someone who doesn't like you?"

My bad for trying to mend things with my enemies that I obviously don't care for.

I hop out of the car, closing the door behind me. "Did I offend her in anyway?"

"No."

"Did I threaten her?"

"No."

"Did I mention anything in regards to her talking shit about Violet and I?"

"She never talked shit about Vi-"

"Answer the question Kyle."

"No, you didn't."

"Therefore, it's not pressing her if I didn't do any of the things I just asked you." I rest my case.

"You still did it out of spite." He continued to argue.

"I don't understand what's not clicking with you." I say. "I didn't say anything to hurt her in anyway."

"You were being petty." He said.

"If trying to converse with someone is being petty, I don't know what to tell you." I open the car door again.

He stopped me from closing the door again. "She's going to complain about it."

"That sounds like a you problem." I exclaim.

"It wouldn't be if you just hadn't said anything to her." He said.

"You're making a big deal out of nothing Kyle." I blink.

"Ariana-"

"Move." I cut him off.

He moves and I close the door. I start the car and drive away, not even sparing him a second glance.

I don't see what the problem is.
