"Come here you sexy hunk of man." I exclaim.

Kyle laughs as he walks over to his dresser with a towel around his waist, running his hand through his wet curls. He then sits on the edge of the bed with his clothes in his hand. Today we were going to find out the gender of our baby. Then I was going to treat him to a birthday dinner. After that, I'll give him his gifts when we get back home.

I wrap my arms around his shoulders from behind and nibble on his ear. I leave kisses on his jawline, listening to him chuckle.

"You're either showing me extra love today because it's my birthday, or because you're just really horny." He held onto my forearms, grinning.

"What's wrong with loving on my fiancé?" I ask, kissing his cheek.

"There is absolutely nothing wrong with that." He smiled up at me.

I kiss his lips, before unwrapping my arms. He goes to get himself ready while I finish getting myself ready. I pull my hair into a messy ponytail, then head to Violet's room. She was finishing up the straps on her Vans. I smile at her.

"You did your shoes all by yourself mamas?" I say.

She nods. I squat down as she approaches me. I pull her hair into a bun, then kiss her forehead. I stand up again and grab her hand. When we get downstairs, Kyle is already down there.

"That was fast." I say.

"I move pretty quick." He shrugged.

"Dada!!" Violet runs towards him. He picks her up and she grabs his face in her hands, pecking him on the lips. "Happy Birfday Dada!"

"Thank you baby girl." He kisses her forehead, rubbing her back. "I love you."

"I wuv you too dada." She smiled.

He smiled back. "Gimme kiss."

She gives him another peck on the lips. I smile at their little interaction, then summon them to the car so we can get to my doctors appointment on time.

"Hi Ari." Dr. Smith exclaims, walking into the room.

"Hi." I grin, my feet swinging back and forth while I sit on the examination table.

Kyle was sitting in the chair in the corner with Violet on his lap. She had my phone, watching her shows on it. Her legs were on either side of him, kicking happily.

"Hey Kyle." Dr. Smith greets. "Happy Birthday."

"Thank you." Kyle replied, smiling slightly.

"How are you guys doing so far?" She asks.

"We're doing pretty good." I say. "He hasn't been stressing me out as much."

Kyle gives me a look and I grin. Dr. Smith laughs, getting herself set up. She asked a few more questions to get us comfortable, before having me lay back on the examination table and pull up my shirt.

"Wow, look at that little bump." She exclaimed, impressed with my 4 month belly. "Definitely doing good."

I smile at that. She applies the gel on my stomach, then begins to move the stick around. My heart warms at the sound of the heartbeat.

"That's the sound of a healthy baby in development." She said.

I look over at Kyle, who smiles as well.
