Kyle 🏀
"I said certified freak! Seven days a week! Wet and gushy, make that pullout game weak!"
I literally stop whatever I was doing on my phone and look out the room door. I get out the bed and make my way down the hall to the bathroom. I peek through the crack of the door, watching Ari rinse her mouth with water after brushing her teeth.
She had the shower running, which let me know she was about to get in. She had her iPad on the towel rack, blasting WAP. She was dancing around to the song, twerking and such. Then she took off her robe and got in the shower.
I listen to her rap along to Cardi silently for a while, before she shouts another lyric.
"I want you to park that big Mack truck, right in this little garage!"
I walk into the bathroom.
"That's what got ya ass pregnant in the first place!" I exclaim.
She screams, opening the door to the shower. I stand there and wave at her.
"Hey."
"Kyle." She whines.
"You mind toning it down a bit, my daughter is in the other room. I don't think she wants to hear her mom rapping about her private area." I give her a once over.
God, that pregnancy glow really does fit her. It's like she was born for it. This woman, that carried my first child, and is now carrying two more of my children, is literally gorgeous. I still wonder how I got so lucky.
"It's not like she knows what it is." She says.
"Ari." I warn.
"Fine." She growled.
I grin. "I love you."
She closed the shower door and went back to washing up.

Ari, Violet and I were in our room watching the animated version of The Little Mermaid. Violet was curled up in Ari's lap, listening to Ari serenade her with Part of Your World.
"I want to be where the people are
I want to see, want to see em dancin'
Walking around on those, what do you call em? Oh - feet
Flipping your fins, you don't get too far
Legs are required for jumping, dancing
Strolling along down a, what do you call it? Street.Up where they walk
Up where they run
Up where they stay all day in the sun
Wandering free
Wish I could be
Part of that world."While she sang to her, she caressed Violet's hair that was pressed to her chest gently. It was cute to see them in that moment. Violet being mommy's world. Just the two of them bonding.
"Is this something you guys did all the time?" I whisper to Ari. I didn't want to distract Violet.
Ari looks at me and nods. "We would curl up under a blanket and just watch movies on Disney Plus. Sometimes we'd be eating, other times we'd just be watching the movie."
"Well, do you guys want anything?" I ask, more than willing to go get it.
She looks down at Violet, running her hand over her curls again. "You want anything Vi?"
Violet quickly looks at me. "Juice."
I nod, looking at Ari now.
"I'm fine with water." She says.
I nod again, making my way out of the bed and downstairs to the kitchen. About five minutes later, I'm making my way back upstairs to the room. I hand Violet her juice box and Ari her bottle of water.
Towards the end of the movie, Violet crawls out of Ari's lap and into mine. She wraps her arms around my neck and I pat her back, listening to her groan.
"What's the matter baby?" I ask. "You tired?"
She nods. When the movie finally goes off, I'm carrying her to her room so she can take a nap. As soon as I lay her in the bed, she's gone.
I make my way back to me and Ari's room. "I put her in the bed and shawty just knocked out. No second guessing or anything."
Ari turned to face me, chuckling at my comment. "I'm honestly grateful for it. She also sleeps through the night."
"That's got to be so relieving." I say, sitting on the edge of the bed.
"It is." She replies, coming to stand in front of me now. I place my hands on the sides of her 4 month belly, leaving a kiss right above the belly button.
"How are my boys doing?" I whisper to her stomach.
She runs her fingers through my hair, rubbing my head gently. I pull her in close, wrapping my arms around her waist and laying my head on her stomach. Her hand moves to the back of my head now.
Just sitting here with her in my arms makes me feel much better. I got my girl back and that's all that matters.
"I'm so sorry for everything." I mumble.
She runs her hands along the sides of my face, lifting my head so I'm now looking up at her.
"That's over with." She said, outlining my lips with her thumb. "We're focused on right now."
"I know." I turn my face into her hand, kissing the palm of it. "I just love how you're so trusting and understanding. I don't deserve you."
She grins. "You don't."
I playfully roll my eyes as she giggles.
"But I'm glad I chose you." She said, squeezing my nose with her middle and forefinger. "Because you're the one for me Kyle Alexander."
I pull her in close again and she kneels onto the bed, giggling. I connect our lips.
"These babies can't come soon enough." I groan against her lips.
She laughs whole heartedly, throwing her head back and all. I can literally feel myself falling in love with her all over again.
"Four months isn't too far along to not have sex Kyle." She said.
"I don't wanna hurt my boys though." I say, smirking. "They don't gotta know that daddy can beat it like a drum."
She slaps my shoulder and I laugh. She sits on my lap and I hug her to me, kissing her neck.
"Gone fuck around and add another baby to the two that's already in there." I look up at her.
She shook her head at me. "No."
"Yes."
"No."
"You're not winning this argument." I chuckle.
"I am." She said.
"Yeah okay." I say.
She pulls my hair and I wince, chuckling again. I kiss all over her face and she groans, scrunching up her face.
"Well at some point I have to kiss your lips in order to stop." I kiss her chin, jawline and cheek. She pecks my lips and I smile. "Thank you."
Before I can pull away, she pulls me back in for another peck. She does it three times before stopping.
"I love you girl." I say, palming her left ass cheek and kissing her neck again.
"I love you too." She giggles when I nip at the skin.
This is really my baby 🥺.
