"Thank you sa lunch, Aria."

Naglalakad kami palabas ng bahay para ihatid siya sa gate. Pagkatapos maglunch, nagpahinga saglit si Wren after kumain at ngayon ay uuwi na.

"You're welcome." I smiled at him. "Ayaw mo talagang magpahatid? Kahit palabas lang ng subdivision." Pangalawang beses ko na 'tong natanong.

"I'm fine. Hindi naman masyadong malayo."

Tumigil siya sa paglalakad nang nasa gate na kami. Kaya ngayon ay nag uusap kami habang nakatayo sa tapat ng gate.

"But the sun's too hot." Ramdam na ramdam ko ang init ng araw sa balat ko. Paano pa kaya siya na maglalakad pa palabas?

"I'm fine, really." He smile with his eyes. "Bye, thanks again."

"Ingat."

Hinayaan ko muna siya na medyo lumayo bago ako pumasok sa loob ng bahay. Dumiretso ako sa sofa kung saan ko iniwan si Magnum pero wala na siya doon. I wander my eyes around the living room but I didn't see him. I was about to call Manang when I heard whimper from somewhere. I looked down, and there...I saw Magnum, half of his body is under the coffee table. Gising na pero nakadapa siya sa floor. Kinuha ko si Magnum at umupo sa single sofa.

"Hey." I said with a soft voice. I faced him. "The sofa is too high for you. How did you managed to get down?" Pagkausap ko kay Magnum. As if he'll answer, though.

I went to my room, still carrying Magnum, to check my phone. May mga messages ulit si Noelle pero di ko muna pinansin. Ilalapag ko na saba ang phone ko sa kama nang makatanggap ng bagong message.

Napakunot ang noo ko sa natanggap na text. Not because of his message but to his name. Nakalimutan ko nga pala na palitan yung nilagay niya. So I changed it to his name.

To Magnus:
You're welcome

Hindi na siya nagreply pagkatapos. Binasa ko na din ang message ni Noelle.

From Betch:
Are you fine na?

Wren is absent as well.

Anne said Wren's already in his uniform when she left their house.

I also changed Noelle's name because she's pissed when she found out that her name on my contacts was Maria Noelle. Inaasar ko lang naman siya.

To Betch:
Yeah I'm fine now

Why are telling me about Wren's absence?

But we met a while ago and he's not in his uniform. Just ask him.

Akala ko hindi pa siya magrereply dahil may class pa pero mabilis akong nakatanggap ng message.

From Betch:
Magkasama kayo kanina?

That was her only message.

To Betch:
Will tell you later. Don't text in class.

From Betch:
Early lunch. Tell me now.

Oh! Someone saw Wren walking inside your village a while ago.

Is that true?

I don't know why but I'm exhausted. I'm not in the mood to explain.

To Betch:
Eat your lunch. I'll tell you tomorrow.
