Tired

We're eating breakfast. I can feel the glares coming from my Mom. Hindi ko na pinansin iyon. Alam ko namang may kasalanan ako.

Kinatok ako ni Daddy kagabi, pinapasok ko siya dahil sinabi niyang kakausapin niya lang ako. Dinalhan niya din ako ng pagkain. As expected, he told me that Mommy will be okay with it soon. Nagalit lang si Mommy dahil pinagtaguan ko sila, parang nagsinungaling na din daw ako sa kanila.

Kay Wren naman, hindi pa rin siya nagreply pag gising ko, so I texted Anne, instead. She said that Wren's phone was broken. Hindi din niya alam kung anong sira at paano nasira. Wren only said it's broken.

Start na ngayon ng work immersion ko. Hindi na mahirap sakin dahil sa company naman namin ako papasok. Sa sariling kumpanya din nila si Noelle. 80 hours ang kailangan ipasok para tapusin ang immersion. Ngayon, sasabay ako kina Daddy papunta sa comapany.

Hindi ko pa nasubukan na magtrabaho sa kumpanya namin kaya wala akong idea. Hindi naman ako nahirapan dahil may mga tumutulong sakin. After 8 hours staying in our company, finally I'm done with my first day. Nagpasundo ako kay kuya Carlo dahil mag i-stay pa sila Daddy sa dito. Bumaba ako para doon na siya hintayin.

When I arrived at the ground floor, I was shocked to see Wren at the lobby. Tumayo siya sa kinauupuan nang makita ako.

"What are you doing here?" I said coldly.

"Baby, I'm sorry." He held my arm. I rolled my eyes in the air.

"Lagi na lang bang sorry, Wren? Paulit ulit ko na lang naririnig sayo 'yan."

"Please, hear me out." He reached my hand this time. "Umalis na si kuya Carlo. You'll go with me."

Pumunta kami sa sasakyan niya. Nang makasakay kami, hindi niya 'yon pinaandar. We're just sitting until he spoke.

"My phone got broken, that's why I can't reply." He explained.

"There's so many ways to contact me." I scowled.

"I'm too exhausted to think of those, I'm sorry." He looked at me with pleading eyes.

"Pagod. Lagi na lang pagod. Bakit hindi ka magpahinga kung pagod ka?"

"I already settled the issue in the company. I rested the whole day, but I'm still feeling tired." Nahihirapan niyang sabi. He looks really tired.

"Bakit kasi hindi ka magsabi sakin?" Lumambot ang tingin ko sa kaniya.

"I don't want you to think about my problem. It's my problem."

"That's why we're together. You have me. I am here to help you." Hindi siya umimik. "I am always telling you what's going on with me, when you asked, I'd answer you honestly. Why can't you do the same?" My voice broke.

"I'm sorry. I just can't understand myself anymore. I'm sorry." A tear escaped from his eye. That triggered mine, so my tears started to fall. Hindi ko talaga kayang magalit ng matagal kay Wren.

"Try opening things up to me. I'm your girlfriend, Wren." He wiped his cheek and his face slightly lightened up. I wiped mine too. "I'll accept your apology, but please...just please don't do it again."

He nodded.

After what happened, we went to a fastfood chain. Nag drive thru kami and then he drove his car to a high place where we can see the city lights from afar. Naka upo kami sa hood ng sasakyan niya habang nakatingin kami sa maraming ilaw sa baba.

"What are you thinking right now?" I looked at him and asked. But he did not respond. Seems like he's in a deep oblivion. "Wren?"

"I'm sorry, what?" Doon lang siya natauhan sa pangalawa kong tawag.
