The new school year was just around the corner and you've been writing to Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Draco all summer. But something that concerned you is that everyone had been writing you back except Harry, you didn't really know what his home life was like but surely he would've been allowed to write. You figured he was just ignoring you which had left a sour taste in your mouth, the other two seemed to be glad to talk to you so you couldn't understand why Harry was ignoring you.

It was time for you and your mother to go to Diagon Alley to go pick up your new school supplies, which consisted mostly of the books written by Gildeory Lockhart. You knew who this man was because your mother secretly fancied him a bit, but besides that you couldn't care less about him. You and your mother walked to the crowded book shop and saw a sign in the front that read, 'GILDEROY LOCKHART will be signing copies of his autobiography MAGICAL ME today 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.' Your mother grasped your shoulder in excitement and you let out an exasperated sigh, you didn't want to have to fight a crowd to get to your books. Despite your resistance you were pulled into the store many witches young and old-ish had formed a line to get their books signed. But in front of all the women you saw Gilderoy almost holding a boy that you swiftly recognized as Harry. You stand there narrow eyed peering around the others looking at Harry, then when your eyes wander up you notice a familiar platnium blonde boy standing above it all. He looks at you which causes a smile to flash upon his face, you smile back and make your way up to him.

"Greetings, Draco, what do you reckon Potter's gotten himself into this time?" You spoke as you now stood next to him staring down at the scene that made Harry the center of attention.

"Potter, seems to be getting the front page of the daily prophet just by being in here. Besides that, glad to see you." Draco sounded harsh and annoyed right until he greeted you, and the same thing happened with his facial expressions. He grabbed your hand as if he was rushing to do something and led you down the step only to find yourself facing Harry. Your face dropped immediately looking right at the boy, you couldn't help but roll your eyes at his presence, at least for now.

"Bet you loved that, didn't you, Potter? Famous Harry Potter, can't even go into a bookshop without making the front page." Draco sneered at Harry, you couldn't help but let out a snarky chuckle causing him to look at you almost hurt. 'What is he looking like that for? He's the one that ignored me?' you looked at him oddly before a smaller girl butted in.

"Leave him alone, he didn't want that!" The girl was clearly a Weasley as she too, was red-headed.

"Potter, you've got yourself a girlfriend!" You said eyeing the Weasley who was turning as red as a tomato. You didn't know why Harry was acting like your attitude was uncalled for, clearly he didn't want to talk to you so why should you be kind?

"Oh, it's you two. Draco, be you're surprised to see Harry here, eh?" Ron had appeared next to Harry and looked at Draco with a disgusted look but had a small smile when he caught a glimpse of you. You sent him a smile back before turning back to look at Harry and shooting him a glare.

"Not as surprised as I am to see you in a shop, Weasley. I suppose your parents will go hungry for a month to pay for all those." Draco snorted as Ron began looking angry and somewhat embarrassed. Suddenly a kind looking man came into view saying Ron's name, he was followed with two taller boys behind him.

"What are you doing? It's too crowded in here, let's go outside." The man said and began to usher Harry, Ron, the two boys, and the still red-faced girl towards the door.

"Well, well, well- Arthur Weasley." Mr. Malfoy had appeared behind you and Draco causing you to feel uneasy, as you always did in his presence.

"Lucius." Mr. Weasley gave a quick nod of the head that clearly wasn't friendly, 'Uh-oh' you didn't know what was going to happen but it wasn't going to be good. You tapped Draco to attract his attention.
