ENTERING BACK into Luna's chamber the next day was a trainwreck. I couldn't fathom the feeling of guilt and emptiness as I stepped inside the room.

Though hindi naman nagbago ang pakikitungo ng ibang co-members sa akin, I still felt ashamed for showing my vulnerability to these people.

"How are you?" I asked Hugo who was sitting on the floor, leaning on the wall. Napaupo ako sa tabi nito.

Ngumiti naman ang binata sa akin at saka tumango. "I feel better Sky. Wag nga kayong ganyan, para namang malapit na ako mamatay kahapon."

"Tungak, ang raming dugo na nawala sa'yo." I pointed out, wrapping my knuckles with a bandage. It was still sore.

"Kaya mo bang mag-training today?" I frown.

"Oo naman, malakas 'to." He grinned, flexing his arm and slapping his muscles. "At saka, magaling na healer si Sir Claude eh." Dagdag nito and I nodded before sucking in a breath.

"Yeah," I say faintly. "He could have healed Lola Rosalina in a snap if he wanted to."

Hugo then placed an arm on my shoulder. "I'm sorry you had to go through that." Sabi niya.

"No one deserves to lose anyone important to them. But here's the thing Sky, everything happens for a reason." He told me, patting my shoulder. "Maybe it's time to finally let go of those emotional baggages of yours."

I stared into space as I let Hugo's words slowly sink, like the anchor of a fleeting ship.

"Alright, on your feet!" Royce ordered, suddenly entering the room whilst clapping his hands together. Agad akong nagising sa reyalidad.

"We've been training all of you individually for a week now," he mentions, pacing around the floor. the heels of his shoes made tapping noises with every step he makes.

"I think it's about time we test your progress on one another." He nods, and stretches his both hands.

"Skylar, Madison and Gabryle; to my left. You will be Team A." Anunsiyo ng mentor at agad kaming naglakad papunta sa kaniyang kaliwa.

"Damien, Hugo and Haisley; dito kayo sa kanan ko. Kayo naman ang magiging Team B." He then drops his hands at that moment.

"We're going to fight with one another?" Madisons asks incredulously.

"Yes, is there a problem Miss Griffiths?" Royce counters back, raising an eyebrow.

"N-No, but—"

"This will serve as an example of what a battle between Mage Weavers will feel like." He says, cutting her off. "I assure you, this is for the better."

"Mentor, gusto niya po kasi ata ako maging ka-team," Damien remarks snidely and Madison sticks out her tongue for him.

"Boohoo, you wish." She mocks before folding her arms.

"Silence from the two of you." Amber warns and both of them immediately shut their mouths.

"With the raise of my hand, your battle may start. Use this as an opportunity to discern whether you really know your teammates or not. This may further help and improve your team's chemistry." The room then falls silent by the time he stops speaking.

I feel a little nervous, medyo wala pa ako sa wisyo para mag-training ng maayos pero kakayanin naman. Ata.

At his hand's signal, agad na tumakbo palapit sa amin si Damien at Haisley at biglang nawala naman si Hugo.
