Trip to Castell

---

IT WAS in the early wee hours of the morning, the period of time before dawn itself — when Delphine, Saoirse, and Aurora woke us up for the big day.

Surprisingly somehow, we weren't anymore in the sandy beaches of the shore below Castillo de Luna, which was the last thing I saw before passing out. But rather, we were now lying on our canopy beds — warm and safe inside our royal chamber.

Sobrang inaantok pa rin yung dalawa kong kasamahan as the faeries made us stand up, propped us in our capes, and prepared all the things we will be needing for Castell.

I on the other hand, was now wide awake with the clammer of my own thoughts habang inaayusan ako ni Delphine. On my mind were a lot of things that mostly included the battle, but there was one specific thought that made me feel tingly and blush.

I was specifically thinking about our kiss.

Bigla akong namula nang wala sa oras before widening my eyes and shaking my head quickly.

"D-Delphine," I mumbled, trying to divert my attention from remembering the kiss that Gabryle had gave me. "P-Paano kami nakarating d-dito sa kwarto?" I quietly asked my faerie who was now pinning my royal crest onto my cape.

Haisley, who was beside me, let out a yawn.

"Mentor Rome brought you inside your chambers when he found the six of you asleep on the shore. Medyo nag-alala ito kasi baka mahuli kayo ng Heneral." Delphine explained before tightening the fit of my cape.

"Ahh, they must have already finished their prankster schemes by then." I smiled.

At that same moment, the three faeries then lined up to take a good look at us. Matagal nila kaming tinignan ng mariin before suddenly rushing to give us three a tight hug na agad namang nagpagising sa dalawa kong kaibigan.

"Oh!" Madison cried in surprise.

"We are honoured to have served you here in the castillo, great Luna Mage Weavers." Their voices trembled, tears forming in the corner of their eyes.

I bit my lower lip as the three of us hugged our faeries back.

At doon ko lamang napagtanto ang katotohanang dulot ng Ethearia Crown Match. Joining this ten-year-old match has now placed our lives on the line.

Walang nakasisiguro kung makakabalik pa kami dito sa Therron ng buhay.

"It is time." Saoirse mumbled, wiping the tears from her eyes before the three of them quietly pulled away from our hugs.

The three faeries then escorted us out of our rooms, and into the dark lawn in front of the castle, kung saan ay naroon at naghihintay na silang lahat.

Other than that, the sky was empty, nothing more but a shade of dark inky blue that swept all across Ethearia.

As we walked towards the others, napansin ko ang inaantok na Damien na mukha pang lasing na lasing.

"This shithead, nakakahiya sa hari!" Madison huffed under her breath as we marched towards them.

Beside Damien was Hugo who was rubbing the two dark circles under his eyes, and...
