Goblet of Promise

THE WHOLE team was definitely up in high spirits when we returned back to Castillo de Luna from Woodland Grove.
If possible, mas lalong naging hyper si Damien at talagang kinukulit ng kinukulit nito si Madison habang kumakain kami sa royal dining chamber. Hugo and Haisley on the other hand couldn't stop laughing at the two's antics.
"You six are very much hyper after that last training of yours." Mentor Rome remarked as he munched onto the lavish dishes served to us.
Tonight's grandious meal was roasted mermaid meat with crisp lettuce and caesar salad kaya naman mukhang sarap na sarap ang mga ito sa pag-kain.
"Chancellor! Salamat nga po pala sa regalo." Damien told Chancellor Asteria who was seated across him in the long, wooden table. "Promise, aalagaan ko po itong mga gloves na ito."
"Of course, Damien." The Chancellor smiled. Masaya ito at nagustuhan ni Damien ang kaniyang regalo. "I'm sure they'll be in good hands under your care."
"I'm glad you feel better now, your highness." I commented, smiling towards King Horrand who seemed to now have more color on his face.
"I still feel a little weak Skylar, but nothing more than a good, delicious meal can solve this old man!" He replied heartily. "Besides, I insisted Minerva that we will be eating with you all tonight."
"Though you better rest well tonight if you want to accompany the team tomorrow for the match." Queen Minerva warned the king, pointing her fork towards her husband.
"You need not to worry more, my love." The king said teasingly as he reached out to hold Queen Minerva's hand, making us chuckle.
The night's festivities continued throughout dinner with lots of happy and excited chatter that it was almost as if we weren't about to enter the most dangerous battle of our lifetime.
Pagkatapos ng kainan, ay di-diretso na sana kami sa aming mga kwarto para makapagpahinga nang bigla naman akong hinila ni Chancellor Asteria sa kamay.
"C-Chancellor?" I stuttered. Haisley and the others whirled around in confusion as well and the demure Chancellor placed a finger on her lips.
"Ano pong meron, Chancellor Asteria?" Kunot-noong tanong ni Gabryle.
"I know the six of you should be resting tonight but I want you guys to have at least a little fun before you go the kingdom of Castell tomorrow." She smiled.
Sakto naman na lumabas na rin mula sa royal dining chamber ang magkapatid na mentors. Parehong nakangisi itong dalawa katulad na lamang ng ngiti ni Chancellor Asteria. Para silang may binabalak na katarantaduhan.
I've never seen this side of them before.
"Ano pong ibig niyong sabihin, Chancellor??" Hugo asked respectfully.
"We're telling you to have fun. Mag-saya kayo! Enjoy this night as if you were normal teenagers. Pampatanggal rin ng stress at anxiety ito." She grinned, before giving the two mentors a wink.
"Hindi po ba kami papagalitan? What if General Thebes find out??" Haisley asked nervously, biting her lower lip.
"Nah," mentor Rome said with a wave of his hand. "Don't you worry about that old grouch! Kami na ang bahala dun."
