【PoV: Reader】

This is it.

Nezuko's life is going to end at this very moment.. at the hands of a demon.. again.

But unlike that other time.. fate doesn't have her back covered.

Even if her perseverance is strong.. there's no way she'll be able to regenerate her limbs back in time.

Susamaru finished saying her goodbyes to Nezuko, and wore a sinister smile.

" AHAHAHA!! " She started laughing like a deluded maniac, as she backs away from Nezuko, summoning another batch of temari balls.

The arrow demon behind her; the one keeping watch, spotted something at the corner of his left eye.

All of a sudden- in the most unexpected of moments-

A muscular, half naked young man... wearing a boar mask... jumped out into the scene, swinging two damaged swords in his hands... screaming like a maniac.

This shocked not only Yahaba, but Susamaru and Nezuko as well... halting the slaughter.

The young man wearing a boar mask went after the Temari demon, who was preoccupied with killing the wounded Nezuko. Susamaru was caught off guard and didn't know what to do.

" ORRAAA!! " The young man shouted, as he severed two of Susamaru's arms with his katana. Susamaru was taken aback and distanced herself from the demon and Nezuko.

Yahaba summoned a bunch of his arrows and pointed it towards the young man. But this didn't stop him from going after the wounded temari demon.

With fine movements and flexibility, the young man evaded all of Yahaba's attacks like it was nothing.
This intimidated the arrow demon, and urged him to summon even more arrows to take the young man down.

Nezuko merely watched the young man fight in awe and bewilderment. The swordsman with a boar mask arrived at the right moment for Nezuko. To her, he was like a miraculous gift from heaven, if there really is one, that is.

Thanks again to the boar man, Nezuko was able to take time and heal her wounded limbs.

Meanwhile, the fight is still ongoing, but the victory holder is still undetermined.
The reason for that is Susamaru just regenerated the two limbs that's been severed from her. She bit her tongue and summoned an array of mari balls.

" No one interrupts me when I'm having a good time! " She shouted, her voice filled with fiery rage towards the swordsman.

" Blood Demon Arts: Hiasobi Temari!! " She casted a spell, which summoned a lifetime batch of temari balls. A hundred dozens of mari balls that may, no, will surely destroy the whole forest that the battle is occurring on.

The look on Susamaru's face isn't very pleasant, she is very displeased by the swordsman's surprise attack and wants to get back at him.

Susamaru is going all out, giving it her very best just to defeat the swordsman.

" Let's see you try evading all of these! HAHAHAHA!! " Susamaru snapped her fingers and the balls came dashing towards the swordsman with monstrous speed, all in one go.

They were like lost bullets finding their way to a single target. The mari balls were scattered everywhere, causing damage to almost every tree that comes in contact with it.

Susamaru is destroying the forest, which shows just how strong her blood demon arts skill really is.

The single target that all the mari balls are after was cornered, but he wasn't disheartened. He stood proud, standing on his own two feet. He took a concentrated deep breath, preparing to perform his breathing technique.

" Beast breathing; Second Fang: Rip and Tear! " He maniacally shouted.

Like a wild animal from the mountains, he moved with his instincts and evaded the scattered mari balls. He even managed to cut through some. But obviously not all of them. Only god (or a very skilled pillar) can actually fully evade hundreds of the temari balls of hell fired with extreme speed.

A temari ball slightly scraped his left bicep, leaving a severe wound. He was also damaged by the leg, but it wasn't too severe to keep him from standing up. He was also hit in the back, that shattered his spinal cord.

But he ignored the painful wounds, and kept going.

It was a moment that lasted for only a minute. The swordsman passed through the scattered mari balls and was within Susamaru's reach.

He concentrated to breath again, and prepared his two swords.

" Beast breathing; first fang: Pierce! "

Susamaru was breathless by the magnificent performance that the swordsman had given her and enjoyed it.

She grinned happily and summoned another batch of temari balls.

" How fun, how fun!! "

But it was already too late. The swordsman had her within reach, and can behead her in any time. Susamaru realized this, but she wasn't prepared for that moment.

She would never have thought that there would be a time that someone will kill her. The only thing that she ever thought about after all is having a playmate to play handball with... as well as obtaining her leader's recognition and getting into the twelve demon moons.

Susamaru panicked, and had searched even the very edges of her thoughts for a way to survive; a way that she can counter the swordsman's upcoming attack.

But nothing came up.

She stood there, powerless against the swordsman that is about to behead her with his katanas.

The masked swordsman dashed towards Susamaru, his actions were like that of true beast from the woods and mountains.

" DIE, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!! " He loudly shouted, as his two nichirin blades cut through Susamaru's neck.

" HAHAHAHA!! "

" Ack! " Susamaru puked out blood as the swordsman's cut deepened.

Susamaru tried to summon a mari ball to defend herself, but failed yet again.

And so like that, Susamaru's head was severed and disconnected from the rest of her body. The swordsman backed away as the head flung and rolled over to the ground.

" No.. this.. this can't be.. "

" I can't die yet..! Not yet..! Not until he approves of me..! "

" NO....!! "

Susamaru made her final cries as she faded away into gray ash.. and into the windy skies.

And while he's fighting the temari demon, the Arrow demon was tailing the wounded Nezuko, who saw the moment as a chance to escape.

" Don't think you're going to get away! "

" By his orders, I will kill you! "
