Belle's POV
Three months of sheer joy, erotic sex and pure love being given to me by Jaycey. Three months of hurt, ignorance and a very cold shoulder awarded to me by Sam. It had been three months since the day someone walked in on me fucking Jaycey in the bathroom and after that day my relationship with Samantha hit rock bottom. Why? That's what I wanted to know too. If she was the one who had seen me with Jaycey I have no doubt she would have caused a scene right there in the bathroom 'cause she's that kind of woman but she didn't say anything and it scares me knowing that maybe she knows something.
"My parents are having another get together on Sunday so I was hoping that we'd both go on Friday and spend the weekend there," Samantha announced. She was busy fumbling with kitchen ingredients cooking Lord knows what.
"Is that directed to me or...?" I replied tilting my head to take a side glance at her since I was on the couch playing with my phone.
"There's only two of us in the house Belle so don't be a jackass."
"I'm not going," I said nonchalantly, ignoring what she'd called me.
"Excuse me?"
"I said I'm not going. I hate your stepmonster, your dad doesn't count he's just a puppet dancing to her strings," I exhaled, emphasising every word I spit, "You should know that by now so stop asking me to go with you 'cause that'll only ever happen in your dreams."
"Wow!" she applauded me, leaving the kitchen to come and stand infront of me, hands on her waist. I acted as if I didn't see her, "You know Belle I think I might have been blind the day I first met you because if I had sight I doubt I would have fell for someone as selfish as you are."
"And I assume you're still blind right?"
"Isabelle Anderson I swear there's so much more to this whole you hate my parents folktale. If you're determined to spend the rest of your life with me, does that mean you will never visit them? Oh no wait you don't love me, you're so caught up in your own little world that you don't even realise that you're hurting me," she yelled.
I furrowed my eyebrows, putting my phone down and sitting upstraight to stare at her, "How am I hurting you? Because as far as I am concerned from where I'm standing you don't even come close to liking your stepmom."
"That's cause she's young enough to be my friend! But that doesn't mean I should desert my family the way you deserted yours!"
I kept quiet, she was trying to get on my nerves.
"You're a self-centered bastard and you don't even consider anybody's feelings," she continued to preach, I could feel her eyes glaring at me like she was planning my murder in her head.
"Are you done?" I deadpanned, picking up my phone and standing tall to tall with her. For the first time since this stupid fight I looked at her. Her eyes were bloodshot red, wet from tears.
"What is going on with us?" I asked myself. I loved Sam so much that it hurt to see her so torn apart but my head was in such a dark space with everything going on with Jaycey too that I was becoming blind to the affliction I was causing for the woman I loved.
"I'm done! I'm done with you, this, us, everything. I'm done," she croaked, chocking and drowning in her own tears.
"Fine," I whispered, "Set yourself free lil' birdy."
With that I stormed out of the house, my heart racing and my own tears threatening to spill, "Big girls don't cry," I told myself, driving off and running away from the reality that I honestly was turning out to be a horrible person.
