Belle's POV

The first time I looked at myself in the mirror I laughed before fainting. I woke up hours later, eyes wide, heart beating fast and my mind wandering all over the place. A man in a white coat, carrying a clipboard flashed a very wide stupidy smile across me and I couldn't help but think he was an idiot. He introduced himself as Doctor Lawson and explained that I'd fainted because my mind couldn't comprehend what was happening, which inturn I looked at him and asked why I was in an older woman's body and why I was in the hospital, as he'd said.

"You'll understand as time goes on," was his reply.

He told me why I was in the hospital, trust me, the story he told me is way out of this world. This Doctor Lawson guy is crazy. So I was told I was involved in an accident, guess who was driving. Me! Crazy right? I was ten years old, how the hell was I be able to drive a car. Grandpa would never let me.

I sat on the hospital bed looking at myself in the mirror, or rather the handsome woman staring back at me. If I didn't have eyes for Jaycey I would have definitely had my eyes on her but no, my only concern at the moment was only pay attention to Jaycey. I couldn't walk at first but now I was getting the hang of it and weirdly enough, the butterflies that were in my stomach whenever I thought about Jaycey were gone. When I fell whilst trying to walk, I felt nothing. The nurse gave me an injection the other day and it's like nothing went under my skin. Something told me I was now practically a superhero and them saying I was in the hospital was a lie, a total cover up. I was at the superhero headquarters and they were preparing me for something huge. The thought of it just made me smile, maybe I would have the power to run away from my grandpa for good.

"I see you're having fun on your own," Doctor Lawson said walking inside my hospital room, "You've been giggling a lot these days, what are you plotting?"

I grinned widely, "When were you going to tell me?"

"Tell you what," he raised his left eyebrow questioningly.

"Nothing, pretend as if you don't know what I'm talking about. I'm a smart kid you know," I wiggled my eyebrows with a goofy smile on my face.

"Okay smarty pants, let's get you up. You have to go work those legs a bit."

"What! No! I don't want to. I can perfectly walk...see," I whined, putting the small mirror I was using to look at the stranger who abducted my soul then getting off the bed. I walked slowly but good enough, showing him that I didn't need to go to physical therapy again.

"I don't even feel anything, that my dear Doctor should mean I am as healthy as you and that's if you're healthy, are you?" I desperately tried to change the subject of matter.

"You won't fool me little Isabelle, now will you want to use a wheelchair or you're okay to walk with your two feet?" he asked.

"Two feet always," I smiled.

"Good, let's go."

After working those legs out like Doctor Lawson had said I cleaned myself up. He told me that today I was going back home and yeah that destroyed my theory of the superhero headquarters but maybe they could read minds and they found out I was about to figure it out so they decided taking me back home would make me forget. Little did they know, I never forget.

"Are you ready to go home yet?" one of the nurses asked.

"Yeah, as crazy as it sounds I miss grandpa a lot."

"Grandpa?"

I looked at the nurse with a frown on my face, "Yeah, you don't know him? Come to think of it he's never came to visit. Oh I forgot where we are, he can't visit."

"Where are we?"

I giggled, "Superhero Headquarters."

"Oh yeah, I forgot," the nurse deadpanned but sparked my interest.

"Wait, you're not denying it?" I questioned.

"Yes I'm not, come on let's go."

I followed her out of the door. Honestly, I think she was going to get in trouble for telling me the truth but hey, I was going to talk to Doctor Lawson and tell him not to get her punished. I was an Anderson after all, that meant nothing was impossible.

We walked till we were at the reception area. There I saw Doctor Lawson and two women conversing, once his eyes fell on me, they started approaching the nurse and I.

"You finally came out, I was about to come and drag you out of that room," he said, his voice sounding bubbly.

What was he happy for?

I looked at the two women, my eyes first taking in a blonde with ocean blue eyes. She was beautiful, very beautiful. She warmly smiled at me and I just stared back not knowing how I should act. I didn't know her, maybe she was part of the headquarters. I smiled back thinking if I didn't I would seem impolite, I swear when I did I saw sparks in her eyes and something else that I couldn't quite put my finger to.

I moved my gaze to the other woman, she had raven her and green coloured eyes. Her smile reminded me of someone. No wait, her hair, her eyes, that smile, my princess...

"Jaycey?" I let out and everyone looked at me with expressions I couldn't understand, "Jaycey, you're Jaycey Davins?"

"Y,yeah," she replied biting the insides of her cheek. I quickly pulled her into a tight hug.

"Oh my word you're here too," I pulled away from the hug. Taking her in before letting out a stifled laugh, "And you're also an all grown up woman, what did they do to us?"

"Uhhh, I," her eyes moved back and forth between me and Doctor Lawson like she was in need of being rescued. Why the hell was she acting weird?

"Nurse Rose, please wait with Isabelle for a minute. I want to talk to these two," Doctor Lawson interjected and they all turned and moved away leaving me with the nurse.

This was weird but in a good way, atleast I had someone I knew here. My beautiful angel. The first girl I had ever had a crush on. The body that they gave her was amazing, her beauty was beyond words and she didn't have those front missing teeth anymore, it was just...wow. I couldn't seem to find words seriously. Only problem was nothing was happening inside me. Usually when I saw her or even thought about her my body would react to it but it was constant and frozen and emotionless. I started to blame it on the medicine that they were giving me.

I could see whenever Doctor Lawson said something Jaycey and the other woman would take turns to give me concerned looks. I decided I was going to ask Jaycey privately, she would tell me what was going on without hiding anything. After a while I saw them approach me and the nurse again. Well I guess that meant I was about to go home. I honestly couldn't wait.
