Jaycey's POV
The steamy kiss I shared with Belle, I know you've been dying to hear about it or what happened after since we were both literally naked and horny as hell. Well, I loved it. When I was ontop of her that close, skin to skin, I could smell her perfume and a scent of caramel that was so intoxicating I wanted to breath it in forever. I could feel her beating heart when her soft lips were on mine. For a first kiss it most certainly felt like heaven, I was floating in cloud nine, I was falling so deep in love.
Something just happened inside me and I swear to God I wanted her so bad but I couldn't let her sleep with me just like that. I ended up pulling away from her and I could tell that I practically annoyed her by denying her advances. We ended up stopping then she went back to her girlfriend. Which hurt but what can I say, I was just her friend.
I rummaged through my closet looking for something to wear. Belle had called telling me that she would come around four o'clock instead of the agreed time because she had a change of plans and I was fine with it since I had nothing to do anyways. As I was still in search of something to wear I heard a knock on my front door.
"Thought you'd never open," Maggie said walking in after I had ran to check who it was, hoping it was Belle.
"Are you with anyone here?"
"No I'm alone, what's up?" I asked, concerned since I noticed that she sort of seemed drunk.
"Nothing. I wanted to see you Jaycey," she said approaching me on the kitchen island, where I was fixing her a glass of water.
"What for? Here's some water, were you drinking?"
"I don't want water, I want you and yes I've been drinking. I'm sorry."
"I think you need a nap, I'm actually going out with ---"
"I don't need a fuckin' nap, I need you," she burped, hitting the glass of water in my hand, causing it to crush on the floor, its contents spilling, "You've been so distant lately and I fuckin' miss you."
"Maggie."
"Shut up!" she surprised me by yelling.
"Ohh okay," I whispered as I watched her closely. She seemed to have a lot on her mind but that still didn't explain her current behaviour. I had never seen her like this.
"I'm sorry, I just have a lot on my mind. I should just go," she whispered the last part. I went nearer to her in hopes that I could stop her from leaving 'cause it seemed as if she really was about to leave.
"Wait, it's okay, what's going on Maggie?"
"You, you don't see me anymore."
"What do you mean," I asked, clearly confused. What the hell was she on about?
She kept quiet for a while, her eyes constant on my own. Pain is all I saw, pain and something else, but what?
"I love you Jaycey. I so fuckin' love you and I don't know if you see it and pretend to ignore it or if you're just so damn oblivious," she said, her voice cracking; her eyes starting to form a little pool, "I know you're straight or so you say and I'm willing to wait for you because I know that somehow somewhere in your heart you love me too but you're afraid and I understand it...trust me I do."
"Maggie."
"I'll go," she murmured, "And by the way I quit at the diner."
With that said, she turned around and walked out of the kitchen and staggered out of my apartment. I stood where I was, dumbfounded. A lot of questions spiralled in my mind. A lot of emotions rushed through my body and I felt more confused than ever. How did Maggie fall inlove with me? When? Why did she fall inlove with me? Was I even inlove with her? And she quit her job?
