To be honest, even if Mark was one of the calm ones in his friends group, he hadn't expected to find the older in the library.
Mark was simply not someone to be in a library. But in the same time it was also kind of explainable since the library was one of the few places where you could have peace and quiet.
Jinyoung smiled as he found Mark in a distant corner of the library, nose in a book. To be honest, Mark did seem like a person that liked reading.
He quietly tiptoed forwards, giggling under his breath.
"Hyung." Mark startled, looking up at him. For a moment, he could swear something warm swept by in the older's eyes before he smiled.
"Jinyoung-ah. I didn't know you was here?" Well, that's as in fact a lie. He was pretty sure all six of them knew he liked to read and spend time in the library.
( they were seriously stalkers, all of them )
Or he was just pretty oblivious when he wandered around.
"I decided to come here for peace and quiet. You can't guess what I found here then." Mark chuckled.
"A mouse?" Jinyoung laughed, shaking his head.
"Nope, a red haired, handsome weird boy sitting in the corner of the library."
"Should I be offended or flattered?" The younger shrugged, sitting down beside him as he dragged his books to stand beside him.
Mark curiously looked at a book, smiling as he saw small flower patterns on a book mark. Kind of cute, actually.
"You like sunflowers?" Jinyoung hummed.
"They are my favorite. I really love them." The older nodded, as if he was taking a mental note to remember as he peeked over Jinyoung's shoulder.
Directly noticing the attempt, Jinyoung grimaced and flicked him on his forehead, making Mark yelp out.
"Don't peek hyung! You got your own book!" He just snickered, rubbing the sore spot.
"What? Are you reading something dirty?" The brunette started stuttering, face turning red as he slightly smacked Mark on the shoulder.
He just laughed, head rolling to rest against Jinyoung's shoulder. He felt the younger tense up, but after a while he slowly relaxed and continued to read. ( still kind of cautious of you asked Mark )
He decided to move closer, a small centimeter so Jinyoung wouldn't notice and tense up.
Smooth, really.
Jinyoung still didn't notice as their legs now touched. Mark laughed quietly, waiting for the brunette to notice the small amount of distance between them.
Luckily for him, he didn't have to wait long until that would happen.
"Hey, hyu-" Jinyoung widened his eyes, flushing as he could practically feel Mark's breath against his cheek.
The younger opened his mouth, left it hanging for a moment before closing him again. He could feel his heart thumping in his chest, gripping his book harder.
Gosh, was he some kind of teenage girl? He gulped, trying to avoid looking down at Mark's lips. It wasn't that hard since the older had locked their gazes, making it impossible for him to pull away.
They sat in silence, staring at each other. Mark smiled slightly, leaning closer and closer...
He could feel himself panic, still not able to break out from their little stare party.
