this ones kinda short but i think the next ones longer sorry lol
I had no time to set up anything but honestly it didn't matter, everyone usually brings their own stuff. About 30 people walked in, someone started playing music and 10 minutes later the whole junior and senior class was in my house. The bass of a random pop song was shaking the photos on my walls.
Calum, Luke, Michael and I stood in my kitchen. Most people were in my living room since that's where the music was. We were just bouncing our heads to the music and sipping our drinks, not talking a whole lot. I hadn't seen Justin since his half-assed apology.
"I'm going to look for Justin." I told them, putting my drink down on the counter.
"You sure you want to talk to him right now?" Luke asked, still concerned.
"Yeah, I just want to make sure he's not doing anything stupid like he usually does at parties." I reassured Luke.
"Okay, just come back ASAP." Michael told me.
"Why, you guys need to mingle, meet some people." I joked.
"Nope. Not Really, we have you." Luke winked at me.
"You're not wrong." I walked away from them to find Justin.
I searched all downstairs and asked a few people if they'd seen him and they all said no. But then I saw Ellie talking to some guy."Ellie! How's the party?" I asked as the host.
"Great! Your parties are always awesome." she joked, we both know I never actually do anything to make it great, it's just the environment we create.
"Why thank you ma'am. You haven't seen Justin have you?" I asked, getting to the point.
"No I haven't, Drew have you?" she looked to the guy she was talking to.
"Yeah, him and one of his football buddies went upstairs." Drew told us.
"Okay, I'm going to go get him. See you later Ellie." I bid them goodbye and I could feel my heart racing.
Justin and another guy alone, in a bedroom. There were only bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs so either Justin is in one of the rooms or the bathroom downstairs was busy. I walked into my room, no one. I took the key and locked it just in case, it's early in the night, who knows what those drunk highschoolers are going to do. But they sure as hell aren't doing it in my bed. I went to my moms room and no one was in there, I made sure to lock her door. No kid is going to frickle frackle in my mother's bed. Lastly was the guest room, the door was closed which was odd. I opened it slowly.
I immediately saw Justin and some guy on his football team making out on the bed.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me." I yelled, I didn't care if I made a scene, "You accuse me of cheating and here you are making out with another guy." I turned around and slammed the door.
It reopened to Justin without a shirt on, "Ashton baby, listen, it didn't mean anything. I was just so mad at you." Justin listed his excuses. I just walked downstairs, him trailing behind me.
I unplugged the music and stood on my coffee table, "Excuse me!" I got everyone quiet pretty fast, "I want everyone to know two things. One this party is over." Everyone groaned but waited to hear the second thing, "And secondly, Justin Roberts is an abusive, cheating, manipulative liar. He was just cheating on me with some guy in my own home. Now that's your golden boy for you. So random guy, you can have him, cause as of this moment, he's single." I looked at Justin in the eyes and flipped him off before I got down from the table.
Everyone was quiet and left in a hurry, just mumbling to each other. I didn't see Justin leave but Luke made rounds to make sure everyone was out except for the 4 of us. Right as Luke told me it was clear I fell into my couch crying. They all rushed to my side, whispering comforting words except for Calum, he just rubbed my back.
"How could he do this to me. I knew we weren't going to last but I never thought that he'd do this to me. He knows how serious cheating is to me. My dad literally cheated on my mom, that's why they divorced. Justin was there for me during that. He was there for me for everything. Why did he have to change?" I couldn't stop crying.
"Ashton, look at me." Michael said getting closer to me, "It's not your fault. You didn't do anything wrong. You just met the wrong person. You said it yourself, you will be okay. It will be okay."
Michael's green eyes started to fill with tears.
"Michael, why are you crying." I asked him.
"Because you're hurting. I know I haven't even known you for a week but you are an amazing person and you didn't deserve any of this. You made us feel welcome in a scary new place. You stood up for us against that fucktard even though you knew him longer. You've been vulnerable to us and for that I want to say thank you and we all need you in our lives. We are going to have some journeys and it's going to be amazing and I know you're hurting right now but I can tell that you're strong enough to get past this." He said shedding a couple tears in the process.
"Thank you Michael." I smiled at the boy. I looked at Luke who was almost crying and Calum who was staring angrily.
"Calum? Are you okay?" Luke asked, putting a hand on his shoulder, which he immediately shrugged off.
"I think that we're going to go home. If you need anything at all just text us okay?" Michael said after giving Calum a look I wasn't familiar with.
"Thank you guys so much. You're all amazing." I smiled at them all, Calum still not looking at me.
"Of course." Luke said getting up from his spot on my couch.
Without another word, the three boys left my house leaving behind two messes; me and my house.
