my boy

Ah, my dear boy Anakin Skywalker.

You have come to my aid once again.

Your strength and resilience precedes your reputation.

Are you happy, my boy?

With the Jedi?

I can see the many contradictions in you, my boy.

The way you want to leave, but can't bring yourself to.

You want to follow the steps of your former Padawan.

Run away far into the outer rim.

Away from the responsibilities of running a war.

Why don't you, my boy?

I can tell you want to.

Is it because you're afraid of the Jedi?

That is what it is.

Can't you see the arrogance in their manor?

The way they dispose of the ones who dare oppose them in the slightest.

The ones who are more opinionated than the grandmasters would like.

The Jedi are so quick to turn away from their own.

Isn't that what happened to your dearest Padawan?

The smallest of evidence were levied against her.

And the grandmasters took the word of an inconsistent account of what went down

over that of a child who fought their war for them

and countless times proven a loyal and energetic servent to the Jedi.

Myriads of occasions did she validate herself as powerful as even you, my boy.

And yet, they tossed her away like a wilted lilly.

Doesn't that anger you, my boy?

The Jedi are so stuck in their ways

but use the influence of the Senate instead of their

precious "light side of the Force".

I wish for you to join me, my boy.

To bring peace, freedom, justice, and security to our new Empire.

None of the corrupt sentients of the Republic, or the weaklings of the Separatists.

If you join me, my boy

I will let you keep your wife

and I will protect her from

losing her will to live

giving life to your heir.

If you join me

your Padawan will rule with us

and so will her little "lover."

Please, my boy.

We must

protect democracy

and rid the galaxy of the truly evil:

the Jedi.

Your valor will save the galaxy

and end the Jedi and their deceitful purported lessons they think will make every star system better.

But why must the grandmasters take the young and innocent away from the only family they've ever known?

Just to be forced to forget any lingering memory

of what they once were?

Forbidding from seeing mothers and fathers?

Banning any sort of emotional attachments?

That goes back

to the Jedi's wrongful morals.

You must lose everything you have, and lose even more

before anyone will acknowledge the Jedi aren't the impeccable lifeforms they think they are.

Let me say this to you, my boy.

Are you truly wanting to stay in a place

that will hold you back from your full potential?

Or do you want to reign free

and use the Force the way it was meant to be?

balanced?

alright so this was a really short chapter and i'm sorry.

so this book evidently is longer than i originally planned, so i have a question: do you want me to continue this book and try to make it better, or do you want me to scrap it and write something else?

i'm okay with either, i just don't know if i like my writing for this book anymore and i kinda feel like it's a trash book.

let me know what you want and i will accommodate

be safe, wear your seatbelts

and don't cry tomorrow
