Lux Bonteri had an issue remembering exactly why he was in a medical cot.

Or why Ahsoka nearly fainted at the sight of him awake.

Lux Bonteri was extremely confused. He was asleep one moment, the fresher the next, and in a cot when he woke up.

"Oh, you're awake you're awake you're awake," Ahsoka repeated, clutching firmly onto his pale hands. "How are you feeling?"

"Fine, I guess," his Onderonian accent was thick with this sentence. "What exactly happened?" He sat up slowly, taking in his surroundings.

"You had a panic attack that led to your throat closing up. We can leave when you're ready."

Oh. A lot more sense came from that explanation. "I want to go home. I'm not too fond of hospitals." Ahsoka lent a helping hand and hoisted him to his two left feet. She linked her elbow around his and assisted him with walking. "I do not need a babysitter," Lux whined, thinking back to when Ahsoka said the same words a few months prior.

"I just want to be sure you're not going to hang out with the floor," Ahsoka backed. "By the way, Bail Organa is our temporary Chancellor."

"What? Why?" Lux shot dead into her eyes to make sure she was telling the truth.

"Palpatine kinda just flung himself out a window and disappeared." Again, Lux glanced with visible confusion. "I confronted him about being a Sith lord, and he went and did a General Grievous on me."

Lux scoffed. "Running away from ruling an entire galactic government? That's a first. And of course, you'd have something to do with it."

"There's a first for everything," Ahsoka chuckled, warmly keeping a close hold on her man.

"True. I mean, I never found myself falling for a Togruta, let alone one from the opposite political standpoint as me."

Ahsoka stopped both of them, twisted herself around his middle, and lost herself into him. Squeezing gently, she inhaled the lovely scent of her senator.  "It's a good thing you fell for me, even if I didn't know it then, I sure do now." She gave the ghost of a kiss to his lips and smiled.

"You can't play me like that!" And to get back at her, he produced a passionate, deeper, more magnetizing pull than he's given her in a while. (His while consists of two days and four hours.)

"Oh, yes I can!" she teased, sprinting away from him and sticking out her tongue like a youngling.

"I thought you didn't want my destiny to be the floor?" Lux groaned, running after to spunky Togruta. She just did a quick turn-around and put an L to her forehead instead of sparing a reply.  "You're too fast!" he rolled his eyes so hard his skinny, weak neck nearly broke. (It was actually pretty muscular and veiny but Ahsoka just liked to make fun of just about every detail of Luxor Phillip Bonteri because she was meanie like that.)

Lux chased her, exhausted about how speedy and agile she still was even if she wasn't actively training or completing missions. She turned left down a hall, and sent a giggle down towards Lux. "Come and get me!"

A few moments later, Lux turned the same corner but didn't see Ahsoka. He began to get worried, could she have gotten that far away that quickly? Wouldn't surprise Lux if she did.

But which way did she go? Left, right, or straight? And did she head directly back to his flat or took a detour somewhere else?

His fast paces slowed into a steady pad. Lux has to think strategically on this one. Now where could my Soka be?

As soon as his train of thought finished, someone pounced on him from behind. "Who is this?" he yelled, eyes covered and a body on top of his. Then a familiar laugh concluded it was Ahsoka.
