After what was possibly the happiest day of my life, I fell asleep in my mate's arms. In my dreams, nothing plagued me, and I could see my mate. The only motivation I had to wake up eventually was to see her face for real.

As the sun rose over the horizon, my eyes finally fluttered open. My eyes immediately rested on Demi, and I smiled happily, for she was my first sight in the morning. I stayed in her arms for some time until she also began to stir.

I raised my hand to stroke her cheek. "Good morning, agápi moú." I whispered softly.

Her eyes fluttered open and met mine as a dazzling smile came over her face. "When did you learn that?"

I smiled. "I may have asked Penny when we were in Greece." I murmured with a soft smile.

"My smart, baby girl." She whispered and kissed my forehead and sat up. "We best be getting ready now, or we'll miss our next adventure." She smiled mysteriously at me.

I pretended to frown at her. "Never heard of a lazy day?"

Her eyes widened, clearly not expecting this. Then, Demi actually blushed. "Well if you would prefer that, of course, my love. There is just somewhere I think you'd love to see."

I started to giggle in amusement. Demi's eyes widened in realization. "Little minx." She growled at me.

I smirked before sitting up, making the blanket fall off my naked body. She bit her lip. "Maybe a lazy day wouldn't be so bad..."

I let out a little giggle. "No, we've got to get going." I stood up and my mate looked at me with her mouth agape. I walked over to the dresser only to stop and remember that we weren't at Demi's house. I looked at my discarded dress on the floor and decided that I could probably wear it for one more day.

Demi stood up and walked behind me. "I have something special for you to wear today." She said softly. She reached into the dresser and pulled out a beautiful emerald green dress with spaghetti straps. I looked at it curiously. It wasn't something Demi would wear and I knew that she didn't take anything with us last night. "Ma made it for you." She said softly, holding it over to me. "She said that it would match your eyes."

I ran my fingers over the fabric. I t was absolutely beautiful and I loved it immediately. I carefully pulled it over my head and tried it on. "I love it." I whispered, peering into the mirror.

Demi giggled. "I think you forgot your undergarments." I flushed furiously. When I turned around, she was holding a fresh pair out for me. I took them wordlessly and put them on before readjusting the dress. I did a little twirl and smiled brightly.  "Ma was right." Demi looked at me in awe. "You look like the princess you are."

The subject of me being the princess had become less sore of a topic for Demi, and I knew that when she used the term, it was out of affection. I reached out for her hand. We both went to prepare for the day before heading downstairs. Ma was making breakfast. "Oh wow, human food." Anzon mused as he walked into the kitchen at the same time we did. "I can't remember if I prefer my bread a little toasted or not."

Demi rolled her eyes. "Stop acting like it's been centuries since you were human. You were only turned like 90 years ago. You're practically a baby."

Anzon glared at her. "And you're an ancient grandma."

"Stop bickering, children." Ma's tone was brisk and it made the both of them shut up immediately. I couldn't help letting out a tiny giggle.

She came over with plates of food. Mine was piled the highest. I looked at it with wide eyes. "We're just eating for the taste. You need the nutrition." Ma smiled at me.
