I struggled like crazy to get this chapter out - between being sick, writing midterms, and attending a funeral. I do apologize that it's late.

I had fallen asleep as we sat on the branch of a tree and watched the stars. Sometime after, I felt myself being lifted and taken back to the house, but I didn't want to open my eyes. It was all too perfect and my inner paranoia convinced me that if I did, it would all disappear.

When I woke up the next morning, it was still dark outside. Demi held me tightly in her arms as my head rested on her chest. I listened to the slow but steady pace of her heartbeat with a wide smile on my face. I felt my eyes beginning to close again. Suddenly, I felt her hands slide down to my waist. Before I realized what she was planning, her fingers started to move around and poke at my ribs. I squealed and giggled loudly as I tried to move away but she only held me tighter.

I began to gasp for breathe. "Please!" I begged in between laughing uncontrollably. "Stop!"

"Hmm," she pretended to think about it. "Give me a kiss and I'll consider it."

I giggled and leaned forward to plant a soft kiss on her cheek. She gasped in pretend indignation as I leaned in and kissed her for real. Although it wasn't the first time we had kissed, my heart began to race the moment that our lips made contact.

The kids started off gentle until I felt her fangs cut my bottom lip. I gasped in pain as she slowly sucked on my bottom lip for the drops of blood that had appeared. Taking advantage of my distraction, she slid her tongue into my mouth. The sensation made the butterflies in my stomach turn into a full on storm.

When she finally moved away, I gasped to catch my breath as she trailed kisses down my neck. She stopped to pay extra attention to that one spot that always made me squirm and giggled as I wiggles around. She stilled, as if asking me permission. I nodded my head slightly and felt her fangs pierce my neck almost immediately. I winced in pain, but it also felt incredible, as if our souls were trying to bond.

I inched as close as possible to Demi and I could feel her arms tightening around me. I felt myself relaxing as she drained the blood from my body. As I began to feel slightly drowsy, I felt her pull away. I almost whined at the loss, but she crawled up and kissed my forehead gently. "C'mon, sweet girl. We have lots to do today and I can't have you passing out on me."

This caught my attention and one of my eyes fluttered open in curiosity. "Lots to do?"

"Yes," she winked at me. "I told you that I'm going to take you to places that you've never seen before, right?" She began to get up from the bed. "But first, breakfast for my baby girl."

I sat up slowly. "Where are you taking me?"

She shrugged at me with a mischievous smirk on her face. I realized that I did not have any extra clothes with me and promptly began to look through Demi's closet.

"You know you would be here for a moon cycle and you didn't pack any clothes?" She teased.

"Maybe I just wanted to smell like you." I replied with a giggle.

"Oh, trust me Sweetheart, my scent is on you so strongly right now that I'm certain any supernatural being can smell it from a mile away." I blushed at this.

After glancing into the closet for several moments, I turned around and asked shyly. "Can I wear what you wore yesterday?"

She chuckled softly and pointed to the pile of neatly folded up clothes in the corner before leaving the room. I grinned happily and went to get dressed. When I finished, I quickly washed my face, fixed my hair, and went downstairs. Demi was seated at the kitchen table, with a plate of scrambled eggs, fruit, and French toast in front of her.
