If you really want to make a friend, go to someone's house and eat with him... the people who give you their food give you their heart.

The four walls of my home were driving me insane. I couldn't exactly nip to Dan's, and Chris was on Christmas break with his extremely annoyed Mum.

On Wednesday morning, there was a knock at my door. I was terrified to answer it.

What if it was Dan, telling me he was sorry, it was a mistake? Or Lily, saying she hated me and it was all my fault.

I couldn't have been more relieved when I opened the door to find Zoe and Joe Sugg with bags of food.

I let them in and we all sat at the dining room table. Not a word was exchanged until all the food was laid out in front of us: priorities, is all I'm saying.

"So," I began, taking a handful of skittles, "how is everyone?"

"Alfie's gorgeous as ever, Pj is never off the phone to Chris, Joe here is snaking around Lily to pounce on poor old Darcy, and Lily is seeking comfort in good ol' Jim. Dan is in hiding, I think."

"Lily and Jim, huh?" I raised my eyebrows, and then something else Zoe had said clicked.

"Woah woah, hold the phone - Chris? And PJ?"

Zoe grinned and nodded.

"They're like dogs with bones when it comes to each other - literally, if you know what I mean."

I held my hands up in mock disgust.

"Ew, didn't need to know that!"

"Well neither did we when we stayed at Pj's on Monday night. Let's just say they weren't the quietest."

"Oh my god!"

Chris and PJ? This was gold! He'd sure come a long way from having a crush on my sister.

I turned to Joe.

"Darcy, huh? How's that going for you?" I was teasing, and he knew it, shooting me a glare.

"Wonderful, thanks. How about Dan? How's that going for you?" he retorted, leaning back and crossing his arms, seemingly satisfied with his comeback.

"Joe!" Zoe scolded, hitting his elbow furiously. She then turned to me, raising an eyebrow.

"Have you spoken to him?"

I shook my head without elaborating.

"You should! You're clearly like, meant to be or something. From what I heard, you were having a pretty good time eating each other's faces and-"

"Shut up!" I groaned.

"Come on, man, you need to talk to him. Preferably face to face, y'know, in aid of the makeup sex. Unless you're into phone sex..." Joe interjected, smirking.

"Oh my God!" my face was bright red by now so I buried it in my hands.

"Seriously, Phil," Zoe said, and I glanced through my fingers at her as she smiled sweetly, "True love isn't something you can hide from - I wouldn't try, if I were you."
