The next morning I opened my eyes very, very slowly.

Hailey's leg were stretched across Sophia's face and Sophia's arm was borderline punching me in the face. I think it's safe to say double beds couldn't comfortably sleep 3 people.

My head was pounding and if I didn't get some Aspirin down my throat soon there was no way I was going to survive today.

I slowly got out of bed trying not to wake my friends and go downstairs to grab some miracle medicine. I waited for the kettle to boil because I really needed some coffee and took a peek at my phone.

11:30am

Brilliant, I had less than two hours before I had to spend the day with Ripper and my tablets hadn't kicked in yet.

I drank my coffee downstairs, browsing through my phone and suddenly last night rushed back into my head. Mr Maxwell called me last night and according to my phone we spoke for a whole 5 minutes.

Hopefully I didn't say anything too embarrassing.

I decided it was time to go start getting ready and wake up the two sleepyheads upstairs.

I quickly grabbed two glasses of water and four aspirins, heading upstairs to wake my two friends.

It took a good 10 minutes and a lot of shaking but finally they both sat up and took their hangover medicine.

"Guys I had such a good night last night, we drank more than we did at Ryder's party last year" Sophia said groggily.

"So did I, thanks so much for coming round, you guys really know how to cheer me up, I've got to go and get ready now Ripper will be here soon."

The girls started to get their clothes from yesterday back on whilst I jumped in the shower.

Not too much longer later I got out, moisturised and started to get ready.

I dressed in a pink sweater and a white skirt and decided I looked cute enough. At least this time there was no instruction to 'wear something sexy'.

I left my hair down in its natural unruly mess not bothering to do anything special with it, I quickly applied some mascara and some gloss and decided that was enough.

"Well don't you look cute, anyone would think you want Ripper to fall in love with you" Hailey said taking in my appearance.

"Shut up, this is as casual as I could manage."

"Right shall we go downstairs and wait with you, we're not going to leave you here until he comes" I smiled at Sophia thankful for her offer.

We waited downstairs as it wasn't 1 o'clock yet, I listened to the conversations Hailey and Sophia were having but as the time grew closer to 1pm, I found myself withdrawing from whatever they were saying.

I started to take deep breaths as it dawned on me I was going to be spending the day with a murderer and every bone in my body screamed at me to run to my bedroom and lock myself in, but I knew I didn't have a choice.

Not much longer I heard the honking of a car horn. Right on time.

Sophia and Hailey looked at me, giving me sympathetic smiles.

We quickly gathered our things and I locked up the house.

I set my eyes on Ripper and for a split second forgot everything that had happened before this day.

He was leaning against his convertible, sunglasses on, dressed for the summer.

He looked hot. No not hot, sexy.
