After the phone call I was quieter than usual and Sophia and Hayley pegged it down to 'Ripper issues'. I debated telling them that Lorenzo had contacted me but the less people that knew, the better.
I knew the repercussions of not letting Noah know Lorenzo had contacted me would be extremely bad. But if I told him he would never let me go. Lorenzo had text me the address as soon as our conversation ended and I deleted it like he asked. I just needed to find a way for Noah not to be all up in my business tomorrow after school.
When school finally finished I let out a deep sigh as soon as I got out the building.
Sophia stayed behind for dance class. whilst Hailey and Ryder had skipped last period to go to the zoo.
It didn't take long before the sound of Noah's motorcycle engine filled the parking lot. I stared at him mouth open wide as he pulled up in front of me.
"Noah, why have you come to pick me up on the bike?"
Noah'chuckled, clearly enjoying the turmoil on my face. "Come on baby, you need to live a little. You can jump on the back."
I shook my head as I sized up the machine he'd rocked up in. He wasn't even wearing a helmet for crying out loud. I could see people staring at us in my peripheral vision. It seems as though people at this school would never get bored of gawking at my guy. I didn't blame them though, he was a extremely good looking specimen.
"I'm not getting on that thing, you don't even have a helmet."
He rolled his eyes jumping off of the bike. He lifted up the seat which turned out to be a compartment for a helmet. "See here we are kitten, do you really think I'd let you get on this without protecting that face of yours?"
He grabbed my arms pulling me closer towards him, planting a firm kiss on my mouth. His hands moved up and behind my head pulling me even closer to him. His kisses really do give me a head rush. I pulled away from him conscious of the fact we were giving my lingering classmates a full on show out here.
Noah's eyes were sparkling as he stared down at me and small smile playing on his lips. I still felt dazed from his kiss that I hardly noticed him placing the helmet on my head.
"Come on kitten. Jump on the back, put your arms around me and hold on tight." I nodded my head knowing there was no other way I was going home today. Noah jumped on first like the expert he was. I swung myself behind him gripping onto him for dear life and we hadn't even started moving yet.
I had a nanosecond to appreciate the feel of his body underneath his shirt before the bike revved to life. I let out a small squeal at the motion causing Noah to laugh at me. "Hold on tight baby." He shouted back before he sped off out the parking lot.
I couldn't contain the screams leaving my mouth as he hit speeds I'm sure were illegal. He sped from in-between cars causing a few passing drivers to stick us the finger. The flipping sensation in my tummy finally tamed down and I began to enjoy the feeling of the world passing by.
I clung onto Noah even tighter enjoying the feeling of being wrapped around him. How was it possible to feel safe going 100mph on the back of a motor cycle with a murderer? I'm not sure how, but it was possible.
I noticed we were going to Noah's place rather than my own as we slowed down. I took in the scenery as we neared the house feeling only a little dizzy.
Noah jumped off the bike as we came to a stop, he picked me up as if I weighed nothing placing me on the floor. My legs betrayed me as I fell straight back into his arms. He took my helmet off for me laughing at the sight of me. I could just imagine how crazy my hair looked right now.
