LUCY'S POV

The battle was going strong for hours.

I killed soldier after soldier but they kept coming.

Maybe I under estimated them.

Just a little.

I have the power to kill everyone here, but it would be too risky.

" Lucy." Steve called.

I looked over to him quickly.

" Jordan's heading for the exit. Go after him."

I nodded subtly and rushed off to the door, stepping over dead bodies, so far none of ours.

I turned down the halls, a left, right, two more lefts and finally was at the top floor, which was about thirty levels.

He was on the landing platform, about to board a helicopter.

" giving up to soon?" I called.

He stopped and whipped around angrily, a snarl on his lips.

" who are you to judge?" He hissed.

I stepped closer." Stop this Jordan. You shouldn't live like this."

He growled and walked closer to me, our noses touching.

" you don't know a thing about me." He muttered angrily.

" I know, that you are self obsessed. Over come, blinded by fame and power. You and I were the same, we used to be perfect. Now you've just ruined it." I snapped.

He hissed at me an turned to leave.

With my mind, I stopped him, turning him to face me.

" I'm not leaving. And neither are you."

He growled and lunged at me, a knife in hand.

I dodged him and rolled to the side, landing on my side.

His face was red with anger as he ran at me again, this time prepared.

But so was I.

I held out my hands in front of my face, the energy started to crackle to life in my hands.

What I was about to do would surely kill him.

I shot the energy out of my hands, onto his body.

He shook like he was having a seizure and he fell to the ground.

I didn't want to look at the body, knowing he was already dead.

I walked towards the exit, ready to report back when I was pulled back by a strong force.

" thought you could get away from me that easily eh Lucy." He whispered in my ear.

I shivered and pulled out a knife, spinning around to stab him.

It managed to stab into his right shoulder and he grimaced in pain, falling to the ground.

But before my very eyes he pulled the knife from the wound, watching the cut heal itself at an extremely fast rate.

After twenty seconds the wound was healed and he leaped up, ready to fight again.

He threw a punch to my face. I dodged it ducking under and kicking him in the shin.

He hissed at me an lunged forward.

I moved out of the way and kicked him in the ribs.

This time he caught my leg, pulling me closer to him.

" now I'll finally show you all the pain you caused me." He whispered evilly.

He twisted my leg to the right, hearing a satisfied crack.

I bit my lip to contain myself from screaming.

Time to fly.

I hovered in the air, my broken leg hanging down like a rag doll.

He grinned a devilish smile and hovered as well, himself surrounded by a red mist.

I raised an eyebrow while finding more power in my energy and ice.

Once, the power was in my hands I shot, but he was prepared.

And this time . I was scared.

His power was stronger and it pushed me to the ground.

My head hit against the ledge of the wall.

I reached my hand up to feel. I felt blood.

My vision started to go blurry as I saw out of the corner of my eye, Jordan stalking up to me, a knife in hand.

I was too weak to move.

He took the knife and started tracing it down my face.

" how does it feel to be beaten?" He hissed, the stupid smirk still plastered across his face.

I lifted up my hand to freeze him but he stood up, stepping on my hand.

" you....won't....win." I whispered as he walked towards the helicopter.

He laughed and turned around just before entering the helicopter.

" darling. I already have."
