Chapter 46

(A/N) last chapter for Brittany. :(

BRITTANY'S POV

TEN YEARS LATER......

I feel old. Is that bad? My kids are fifteen. Their supposed to be getting their licenses next year.

But nick and I decided when they turn fifteen we would tell them about shield and all the spies and us and stuff like that.

" guys come on. Family meeting." I ordered, clapping my hands as the kids walked in.

Wolfee held a scared look as if he had done something, Gweneveire was being her shy self, and Delilah was on her phone with her headphones in.

" Delilah." I snapped, pulling her head phones out. She groaned." What?"

" family meeting." She rolled her eyes and sat down, pulling her black hoodie over her face.

I sighed heavily and sat down across from them with nick.

" okay guys. We have something to say." I looked at nick.

" yeah. It's very important and you can't tell any of your friends." Nick warned.

" what friends?" Delilah muttered under her breath. I shook my head and sighed, ignoring the statement.

" fine ill just go out with it. Is that alright Hun?" Nick asked me. I nodded." Go ahead."

Nick took a breath." We're spies."

I heard Gweneveire choke on air and wolfees jaw dropped. Delilah rolled her eyes." Yeah right." She snorted.

Nick and I looked at each other as if to say ' I knew she would say that.'

We stood up." Follow us."

The grumbled and followed us down the stairs to our secret home office.

Nick put in the passcode and it scanned his eye before it let us slip through the door. I flipped the light switch and the room was illuminated by light. The computers came from inside the walls and the SHIELD symbol stayed proudly on the far wall.

" we work for SHIELD. And elite division that helps keep crime off the streets without making things to messy. Your mother and I are both agents working there. And actually. I am the director. So-"

" wait wait wait. Hold on a minute. So your telling the truth?" Delilah breathed out. We nodded." Yes."

" whoa." Wolfe muttered leaning against the wall for support.

Gweneveire stood silently and stared at us with her jaw practically on the ground." What. The. Heck."

I chuckled." I know it's a lot to take in, but it's the truth."

" are you a super hero?" Delilah asked me. I nodded." I am. We have several friends who are super heroes too."

We led them upstairs again and sat on the couch." How bout a movie?" Nick asked. Delilah rolled her eyes but sat down along with the rest of us.

Family. It's what I've always dreamed of having. It's nothing I thought I would have, but I do.

Love is something you can't explain. It's the deep feelings for your family, friends and husband. You never know how to explain the most powerful of things.

Love is powerful. And I will always have it. My family is a little messed up, yeah we're a little bit screwed, but isn't every family? No matter how messed me are at the end of the day were still family.

And that's all ill ever need.

(A/N) OMG and there goes Brittany's last chapter. I may or may not be tearing up. But goodbye Brittany. You will be missed. But I enjoyed writing her POVs. Two more chapters of the book left.
