EMMA'S POV

" hey Bruce." I smiled happily at Bruce as he walked in.

He smiled nervously." Good morning Emma."

I grinned and walked over to him.

" you can go with the others. We're just waiting on a few people before we can start." He nodded and walked slowly to the tree and sat down with the others.

" merry Christmas Em." Adam called from behind me.

I turned around and smiled." Merry Christmas."

" it's a beautiful day isn't it?" He asked, staring out the wall sized window.

I nodded in a agreement." It is. Have you seen the others on your way up?"

He shook his head." No I haven't. Who are we waiting for?"

" Steve , Lucy, Sophie, and Bucky." I answered quickly.

" can you take these out to the others?" I handed him the tray and he nodded, disappearing out the door.

" how's it going babe?"

I turned around and smiled." Fine."

Tony shook his head, giving me the thought that he was thinking.

" what's wrong?" I asked, putting my hand on his shoulder.

He shook his head again." It's nothing. It's just HAWK. I mean they could pop up again at any moment. I just want it to be normal. Just me and you. Maybe even a family. I don't want them to ruin our wedding."

I showed half smile." It'll be fine. I'm sure SHIELD is working on it. But I mean I want a family too. And exactly, can they just hold off until the weddings over?"

He nodded in agreement." I just don't want anything to happen to you." He whispered, his hand on the side of my head.

I leaned against his hand on sighed." I don't know what I would do if I lost you."

" I love you." He whispered, kissing me.

I kissed back, wrapping my arms around his neck.

" I love you too." I whispered against his lips, my fingers subconsciously running through his hair.

His hands went down to my hips, resting there.

" umm. Sorry." A voice coughed uncomfortably from the doorway.

I pulled away awkwardly.

" Bucky!" I gasped, " you made it! Is Sophie here?"

The soldier nodded, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

" yeah. Is Steve here?" He coughed out, not wanting to catch my gaze.

I shook my head." Now it's suspicious. Where are they? Their not the kind of people to do....it..."

Tony agreed." Exactly. We'll give them ten more minutes. If their not up then, well, we'll go on a hunt."

I grinned." Alright. Lets go out with the others." I said, grabbing both their arms, and pulling them towards the living room.

" hey Sophie." I smiled, nodding towards the blonde sitting next to her sister.

She nodded to me and waved." Hey Emma."

I sat down on the sofa and shot a curious glance at Brittany.

" hey Brittany. Where you get the ring?" I ask.

The room stopped and looked at her, causing her to blush and look down.

" umm. I'm engaged." She muttered.

" what?!?!" Tony yelled.

A glass dropped somewhere in the distance.

" fury? Eye patch scary man is getting married???"

She nodded nervously.

" well..."

The look on her face showed that she was preparing for the worse.

" congratulations!!"

I jumped up and hugged her tightly.

" COCOA BABIES!!!!!" I squealed.

" Lucy will be happy to know."

Brittany grinned but stopped as a look of realization washed over her face.

" where is Lucy?"

We looked around.

Something is up.
