LUCY'S POV

" can I go in?" I stood in front of the special un brainwashing room.

Bruce sighed and scratched his neck.
" Well I guess so. He just woke up so your gonna have to fill him in." He answered.

He didn't have to tell me twice. I pushed open the doors and stepped inside the slightly darkened room. Jordan lay on a bed on the other side of the room, his eyes closed.

I cleared my throat." Jordan." His eyes opened and he looked at me with confusion. " Lucy? What the heck is happening?" I pulled over a plastic chair and sat in front of him.

" ok, so, where do I start?" I chuckled. He still stared at me with curiosity and I continued." As you know, you were brainwashed by Johan Schmidt. We went into a battle and I knocked you out. I fooled every one that I 'died' but in reality I went to see my parents which is none of your concern."

" where am I?" His voice croaked out.
" stark towers." I admitted simply, crossing my arms over my chest.

" after....after I was.....brainwashed, what happened to you." He stumbled over his words, running his hand through his hair.

I groaned." Well, I started a life of crime. Cause that's what I was raised to do. SHIELD found me, and I joined them. And just a bunch of random stiff you don't need to know, then, we found you guys. We went on series of missions trying to take you and the organization down when finally we did. So, is there anything else you need to know?"

His eye brows scrunched together in concentration." No, but, are you pregnant or did you gain weight?"

I chuckled." I'm pregnant." His eye brows raised and his mouth went in the shape of an 'O' as he thought.

" who are you married to?"

" a really really nice man."

"Was he nicer than I was?" His voice whispered. I sighed." Jordan, after you left I moved on. Yes, you were nice when we were dating, but you were my past. Steve is my future now."

He hung his head in understanding.
" I-okay."

I put my hand on his shoulder and stood." SHIELD has a proposition." His head raised again. " proposition?"

I nodded." They want you to join. Since, well you and your powers could be useful."

From the look in his eyes I could tell he was in deep thought." Can I decline?" I smirked." You might not want to do that. They'll be on your tail for years." He sighed with a slight smirk." I guess I will."

I grinned." Welcome to SHIELD."

He smiled back." Where do I go now?" I thought." Stark has a floor for you. I'll take you to it now if your feeling up to it." He nodded and sat up, snapping his finger that changed his outfit immediately. He was now wearing a black T-shirt and jeans. " let's go." I ordered silently, leading him out the door.

On the way to his floor, the elevator stopped and Steve got on."hey babe." He nodded, kissing my cheek." Hey." I whispered.

He glanced over at Jordan.

" hey. Jordan right?"
Jordan nodded." Yeah. You must be the lucky guy that has stolen Lu's heart."

Steve smirked." I assume I am." They shook hands and I smiled, holding my belly.

" when are you due?" Jordan asks, breaking the awkward silence. " any day now actually." I answered with a smile. He smiled back." That'll be nice."

I nodded and stepped out of the elevator with Jordan on my heels." See you at supper?" Steve called. I turned and waved." You got it." I called back.

Once the doors closed I showed Jordan to his floor." Here's your floor and just ask JARVIS if you ever need to get anywhere." I pointed out.

Jordan nodded." Thanks Lu." I nodded and smiled." No problem. Call me if you need anything."

I then exited the room, making my way to the lab to see Emma and her kids.
