BRITTANY'S POV

It was almost seven months since I got married. Life was good.

Yes, nick had to work every so often but he made time for me.

It was quiet in the world. Almost too quiet. But we both ignored it thinking things were fine like that. But in some ways I'm not so sure.

He will strike again. But this time we'll be ready.

In other news, I've been feeling extremely stomach sick and hungry.

I've been moody also. And that's been a pain for nick because he has to constantly go to the store to buy me food. This has been happening for months since that night of my wedding.

Everyone's saying I should check it out but I don't think that night would do anything.

" just try it please!" Lucy begged constantly along with the others. Nick was gone to work today, all day.

I groaned and rolled my eyes, taking the test from her and stomping to the bathroom.

" man she really is moody."

" I heard that!" I yelled from the bathroom.

The girls giggled and sat themselves on the sofa.

I took the test nervously.

Once I was done I left it on the counter to wait.

I stepped outside and started to pace while I waited for the test to finish.

What if he doesn't want kids? What if he leaves me?

'Calm down!' My conscious hissed.'nick loves you.'

This calmed me down a bit and I cautiously walked into the bathroom and pIcked up the test.

I took a deep breath and read it.

Positive.

A sigh of relief burst through my chest and I laughed with joy, running to the girls.

They stood all at once.

" I'm pregnant!" I yelled.

The squealed and hugged me in a group hug.

" congratulations !! " they yelled.

I grinned." When are you going to tell nick?" Natasha asked me.

I thought for a moment." When he gets home."

The elevator dinged." I'm home-oh hey guys."

I turned to see nick coming out. My eyes widened and I put the test behind me.

" what are you guys so happy about?" He asked suspiciously, walking closer.

The girls moved out of the way and gestured for me to tell him.

" nick I have something to say." I said quietly.

He raised an eyebrow." Yes?"

I took a deep breath." I'm pregnant."

His one eye widened and he dropped his briefcase.

" y-your p-pregnant?"

I bit my lip." Yes."

He surprised me my scooping me up in his arms and kissing my forehead.

" I can't believe there are little bundles of joy in your stomach. How many?" E asked.

I shook my head." Your not.....upset?"

He shook his head." Of course not."

I smiled." Then well, I don't know. I'm surprised I haven't noticed the bump until now. I hope the kids ok."

He smiled a half smile." I'm sure their fine."

I grinned and kissed him.

" I love you."
