LUCY'S POV

I awoke earlier than usual to see the bed empty and a note on my bedside table.

Gone to work for the day. Be back by dinner.

- Steve.

I laughed dryly.

" great." I muttered, pushing my hair out of my eyes and getting up.

I stretched quickly and got dressed.

My outfit consisted of a blue tank top with a black vest and black skinny jeans. I quickly threw on my blue converse and was out the door.

I was meeting with Ward today. To discuss some things.

Sitting at the old cafe I waited...and waited....and waited.

Until finally, three hours later a rather worried Ward appeared.

I stood to meet him.

" about time." I said with a raised eyebrow.

He shot me an apologetic look and sat down.

" sorry Lucy . Something...happened and I had to deal with it."

This made me suspicious.

" what happened?" I asked.

" nothing."

" there's obviously something."

" no...why would you think that?"

" you did....it....with Skye didn't you?" I smirked.

He blushed and looked down.

" how'd you know?" He asked.

I suddenly switched into Sherlock mode.

" I can see that your in a rush, your out of breath, you still have a pink tint to your cheeks, and oh...is that bite marks on your neck?" I asked with a smirk.

He raised a surprised eyebrow and stuffed his hands in his pockets.

" ok ok Sherlock. Calm down and go find Watson."

I laughed and suddenly quieted down, lowering my gaze.

" so....the article?"

He glanced around before reaching in his pocket and taking out a USB.

I took it from him quickly and stuffed it safely in my pocket.

" thanks." I muttered, standing up.

" you owe me one." He said with a smirk, standing up as well.

I laughed and shook my head." Sure."

He patted my shoulder and sighed.

" I'll see you around." He said.

I nodded." Cool. Don't do anything you'll regret." I said with a wink before dashing off down the street towards the tower again.

Finally. I have it.

Finally ill know who kidnapped me.

I will search him down and kill him.

KILL him for what he's done to me.

He will pay.

The only thing on my list this Christmas.....is revenge.
