Chapter 11

EMMA'S POV

" Tony!" I yelled happily, running towards him.

He whipped around at the sound of my voice and dropped his helmet, running toward me.

He picked me up and spun me around, a smile on each of our faces.

" I missed you so much!" He said happily.

I chucked softly." But you were onto gone a couple hours."

He smiled and set me down, and pulled me closer.

" oh but an hour is like a lifetime without you." He said softly, leaning closer.

I grinned and kissed him, pulling him in.

I felt him smirk against my lips." I love you." He whispered.

" I love you too." I muttered.

" MEETING!!" Fury yelled loudly, as he walked past.

I groaned and started walking towards the conference room, hand in hand with tony.

" what is it this time fury?" Tony groaned, dragging himself to his seat.

I chuckled softly and sat next to him, trying not to fall asleep again.

Once everyone was filed in (minus agent east of course), fury cleared his throat.

" you all know from the events that took place today, that you all desperately need rest. So I've arranged for all of you to again be staying at stark towers. Agent east will be transferred to the lab there until she recovers. And also, your all having a month long break. So, the jet is leaving in five minutes."

I grinned." Great now I can spend more time with you."

Tony looked at me and smiled back." Good. More time to-"

" tony!" I said with a gasp, smacking his arm.

He laughed and kissed my nose." I was teasing Emma. "

I stuck my tongue out at him and stood up, following everyone else out the doors.

" well everything I need is at the tower so lets get in the jet." Tony suggested, taking my hand.

I wrapped my fingers around his and leaned in closer.

" or....." He thought aloud mischievously.

" I could take you myself in my suit." He grinned and winked at me.

" I don't think-"

" come on Emma." He begged.

I thought for a moment before huffing." Fine." I muttered.

He grinned with satisfaction and ran ,with my hand still in his, to the room where his armor was held.

Minutes later we were on the landing platform, overlooking the ground below.

" you ready?" He asked, lifting his face mask up.

I took a deep breath and nodded, clinging closer to him.

Before I knew it , he took off, zooming into the sky, making fireworks with his rockets.

We swooped down and my breath hitched in my throat.

Diving down into the city, I held on tighter.

I heard his bionic chuckle as we were only a blur of a light in the city.

Finally and thankfully we arrived on top of the tower, me finally letting go and falling to the ground.

" that." I started with a deep breath.

" was scary." I muttered, covering my face with my hands.

I felt Tony's arms snake around my waste, and pick me off the ground.

I peeked out through my hands and groaned.

" we are never doing that again." I protested.

He chuckled softly and kissed me on the cheek, carrying me inside.

" you better get used to it. I'm doing this every night until we get old." He whispered softly.

But I could barely hear a word as I drifted off to sleep...
