Chapter 25

BRITTANY'S POV

The day was perfect.

A dream come true.

It was my wedding day and I've never been so happy.

I wobbled on my heels as I stepped over to look in the mirror.

My hair was up in a fancy up-do and a head piece surrounded my head.

The dress was beautiful and everything else on my outfit was.

The only thing I despised were the heels.

But Emma, being my bridesmaid forced me to wear them.

Her, Lucy, Natasha, and Jane were all bridesmaids.

Sophie of course was my maid of honour.

The groomsmen were chose by nick.

Steve, tony, Clint, and Thor. Bruce and Bucky did not yet want to be involved in a wedding.

" you ready?"

Emma peeked her head through the door.

I spun around and smiled." I think I am."

She smiled back." Good. You look beautiful."

I blushed." Thanks. You do too."

She laughed an gestured for me to come closer.

" you know who's giving you away?" She asked, helping me step down the stairs towards the door that would change my life forever.

I shook my head." No I don't."

" Phil."

I smiled," really?"

She nodded." Yup. Now lets go. It's starting."

I took a deep breath as she pushed open the doors, walking trough hand in hand with tony.

The music started.

" OMG." I muttered, as the doors opened and people's heads turned towards my way.

I prayed to God that I would not fall as I stepped out onto the floor, Phil's arm hooked in mine.

I didn't focus on the crowds I focused on the love of my life, on the other side of the room.

He shot me a smile and I returned it, stepping on step closer.

Phil stopped before him and let go of my arm, kissing my forehead.

" good luck." He whispered, before walking to the side.

I nodded to him as I stepped up to stand by nick.

The preacher started.

I ignored the words that he spoke and stared at nick.

" hey." He whispered.

" hi." I whispered back.

" you look beautiful."

I blushed.

" so do you."

His eye narrowed and as soon as I realized my mistake I covered my mouth.

" oops. I mean you....you y-you look handsome." I said , clearing my throat.

He laughed and looked up to the preacher who spoke.

" do you take Brittany as your lawfully wedded wife for better or for worse, through life and through death as long as you live. "

Nick smiled at me." I do."

" do you Brittany take nick as you lawfully wedded husband, for better or for worse, through life and through death as long as you live?"

I took a deep breath.

" I do."

The preacher smiled." I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride."

We didn't have to wait any longer, we leaned forward and kissed, my hands wrapping around his neck.

" I love you." He whispered.

" I love you too." I whispered back.

The room erupted into cheers as they all stood and clapped.

Nick and I smiled, running down the hall and towards the limo that would take us to the banquet and the dance.

I was married.

The food was over and man was I stuffed!

The dj had started to play songs and people were already on the floor busting a move,( or more like a hip).

" good evening everyone. It's time for the lovely couples dance." Tony yelled into the microphone.

Nick took my hand and led me onto the floor.

Music started to play in the background as we started to sway to the music.

" you know, I don't know how to dance." Nick muttered.

I grinned and leaned into his chest." That's ok. I'll teach you."

More couple made their way onto the floor as we swayed to the music some more.

He wrapped his arms around me.

" where are we going on a honeymoon?" I asked.

" you choose. But it can't be too long, in case something happens."

I thought for a moment." How about, New Zealand? We can go see the hobbit holes!!!!" I said excitedly.

He nodded." Alright. That's where we'll go."

" but for now. Lets enjoy the married life."
