Hilary
“Have you found her yet?” Ryker asked the guards as they came back in. Poor boy.
“If she does not wish to be found, my sister will not be found. You fools have not learned anything, have you?” I scolded, giving each of them a cold glare.
The guard left after a scoff and Ryker turned to give me a look.
“We are trying to find your sister. You should be thankful.”
“Thankful? Last time I checked she was still gone.”
“Hilary. At least we are trying. What have you done to find her?”
“I know my sister. We grew up hiding. She knows how to become invisible.”
“You need to hope we will find her.”
“I already know you will not! When she returns, it will be of her own free will. You men are just wasting valuable time.”
“Hilary! Have they found my bride yet?” Nathaniel called, leaning over the railing to stare down at me with a look of pure hatred.
“No.” I snapped, returning the look.
“You do realize if she is not back by the wedding date, you will have to step in as queen?”
I froze, my jaw on the floor as I looked up at him, hoping it was a lie and he was just toying with me.
“Oh yes, sweet princess. You will become my bride if my darling Nikita does not return.” He smiled and turned to stalk down the hall, towards father’s room.
“I hate him.” I murmured, tears blurring my vision.
“As do I.” Ryker agreed, his hands curled into fists.
“Ryker, do you miss your brother?” I asked, a plan coming to mind.
“Of course.”
“How would you like to bring him home?”
Author's Note:
Sorry, this one is so short!! It's more of a filler. I needed to get Ryker and Hilary out of the castle.
I might post more today, I might not. Who knows?
See you later, sweet boogles
