Leia's POV

We all circled around the table as the large white egg started wiggling. Two of the dragons were perched on Nikita’s shoulders and the other two on Samuel’s. It still confused me how well they had taken to him.

A chirp came from the egg, causing all the dragons to jump and one of them fell off Nikita’s shoulder before climbing back up.

Soon, a small pure white dragon poked its way out. Its Power hit me, sending me stumbling back. It opened its large pale blue eyes and looked around with excitement and fear.

“What is it?” I whispered, kneeling down next to Nikita as I stared at it in fascination.

“I thought you would know.” Nikita hissed, turning to give me a frustrated glare.

“I have never seen such a creature.” I got up and retrieved the book. I searched for an explanation while Nikita and Samuel watched the dragons all sniff at each other.

“There is no record of a white dragon. It could an Air dragon but it would have some form of gray in it and I cannot feel a strength in Air from it. Its Power…it’s strong, stronger than the others.”

Nikita and the dragon locked eyes. Nikita’s flashed white and then returned to its normal blue.

“She is an Ice dragon.” she whispered, reaching out to stroke its tiny head.

“There is no such thing.”

“Obviously there is!” she snapped back, giving me a very cold look. Samuel rested his hand on her shoulder, shaking his head slowly.

“I have been around every form of dragon, Nikita. I would have been informed if a new element had been added.”

“Well, you are being informed now.”

“Nikita, maybe you heard it wrong. Maybe it is an Air dragon, only differently colored.” Samuel suggested, trying to make peace.

“You are taking her side?” Nikita cringed away from him, moving closer to her dragons.

“I am not taking anyone’s side. I am trying to offer solutions.”

“There is nothing to be solved, Samuel. Diantha is an Ice dragon and this old peasant does not want to accept it.”

“Old peasant? I helped your mother and her mother and your family and this is how you repay me? Just because you are a princess does not mean you can talk to me like that!” I yelled, bursting up onto my feet.

“What will you do? Hit me? Go right ahead.” She stood as well, a new fire in her eyes.

“Don’t.” Samuel growled, tugging at her wrist.

“No! She thinks she knows everything but listen to me, Leia, you do not know me. You don’t know what I am capable of and you do not know what my dragons are! You are nothing but a stuck up little girl who can’t move on from the past.”

I am not fully aware of what happened next. All I know is that my hand somehow connected with her face and then I was being pinned to the wall by Samuel.

I gasped as I realized what I had just done. I had just slapped a princess, a Drago with five powerful dragons at her feet. They were all growling at me, snapping their teeth, except for the white one.

“I am so sorry, princess. I did not mean to.”

“Samuel, let her go.”

He turned to give her a confused look but quickly obeyed. He stepped in front of her as I moved away from the wall.

“I will be leaving. Samuel, pack up anything you wish to keep.” Nikita turned and calmly walked to her room, her dragons all following, even the white one.

“I’m sorry, Samuel.” I repeated, turning back to him.

“It doesn’t matter. You still hit her. I should lock you up in a dungeon or have you hung.” He left as well, walking much quicker than she had.

What have I done?

Author's Note:

Ooh, drama.

I just wanted to clear some things up. Diantha is the new dragon and it is a female. Diantha is prounced Die-antha, or like Dianna only with a th at the end.

Leia is prounced Lay-uh, or like the chick from Star Wars. I think that's how her name is said. Is it? I'm sorry, I don't do Star Wars.

Well, that's it. I will see you boogles tomorrow or in my other stories...hint hint....ok BYEEE!!
