An Unexpected Team-Up

3rd person's P.O.V~

Y/n grinned as Kakashi's 'body' turned in wood. Hearing the trees rustles, they glanced back in the direction of Sasuke's retreating form and Sakura running after him.

They sighed and looked up at the angry Naruto. He gritted his teeth and cut himself down. Y/n smiled, 'Not gonna lie he looked cool doing that but...' They laughed as he got caught again. 

"Dammit, I fell for it again!!" He sulked. Stifling their laughter, Y/n grinned up at him.

"So what now? Should we go help Sakura and Sasuke?" They suggested. Naruto scowled at them,

"Why would I want to help that teme?" He argued, crossing his arms. Y/n sighed, 

"He's our teammate Narubro. And Sakura definitely needs our help." Conflicted, he stared at Y/n.

"We don't know that-" He was interrupted by a high pitched scream, 100 per cent belonging to Sakura. Y/n raised an eyebrow, giving him an 'I told you so' face. He groaned and went limp. 

"But I'm too hungry..." once again, they glared at him, "That's why I told you to eat breakfast." He sulked again and nodded, "yeah, maybe I should just listen to you more." Y/n nodded, "oh for sure... did you need help?" Naruto shook his head, his pride getting in the way. "I'll get down eventually, you go help Sakura I guess." Nodding again, Y/n sent one last grin Naruto's way before rushing off to find Sakura.

Alright, where's that pink bubblegum princess? 

I huffed, glaring in front of me and kept running in the general direction Sakura went in. Look, Sakura is just painful in Naruto. In Shippuden though, she gets better! Like, I personally found her powers way cool. But then she NEVER REALLY USED THEM. To be honest her most useful part was in the war at the very end of the show. I sighed and looked down, I think I would've liked her if she wasn't so Sasuke-crazy. At least Ino gets over it. 

Looking up I saw Sakura in the distance and sped up a little. She was yelling out weirdly and I face-palmed, guess she just got caught in the genjutsu. Jumping up onto the branch Kakashi was on, I put a hand on my chin and leaned into it. 

"Maybe I went a little overboard. But it's something she should be able to recognise."

Shrugging I gave him a smile, "trapping her in a genjutsu of her prince-charming beaten up like that was a pretty harsh move, dude."  Kakashi glanced at me.

"Eh, I'm sure she's fine. Are you going to help Sasuke out too?" I shrugged. 

"Does he really need my help? No. Will I help him? Maybe. I don't know. He thinks a team is useless enough anyway." Standing up, I rubbed the nape of my neck. 

"But who knows? Maybe I wanna try out some ninjutsu." He looked at me in surprise. 

"I thought you said you didn't have chakra?" Shrugging again, I smiled at him.

"Well, it's not ninjutsu... it's something else. To be completely honest with you I have no idea what it is. All I know is that I can do stuff similar to ninjutsu." Jumping down to get to Sakura I heard him say, "You just surprise me more and more don't you?" Making me grin, turning around to wink at him one last time before going up to Sakura. 

"Hey... Sakura... you good?" I muttered, poking her side. It took a few pokes before she sat up suddenly, eyes wide and tears in her eyes. She looked at me, terrified,

"Where's Sasuke-kun? Is he alright? Is he okay? He w-was covered in b-blood and it looked like he died and-" awkwardly giving the scared girl a hug, I rubbed her back in soft circles, calming her down.
