Chapter 3 - Tofie

Someone's Pov:

I've been roaming around here in this garden for a couple of minutes and theres still no sign of Tofie.

"Where are you Tofie?" pabulong kong tanong. Kailangan ko na talagang mahanap si Tofie.

Si Tofie, ang tutang natagpuan ko noon dito sa garden malapit sa hideout ko, maliit pa siya non maybe he was here for a week that's when I decided to take him in and take care of him.

I made him a dog house, well not literally made it, I just fix it up and piled some bricks and woods and found some galvanized iron which I used as the roof.

Those are considered as trash that's why they are stored here in our school garden. Only few students come here that's why its no longer cared for.

I found this place when I was in second high school, I was roaming around when I got here and found that room full of broken appliances and also tables and chairs.

From then on, I used to go here on my vacant hours, this place is peaceful and quiet and I get to relax and not be disturbed by others.

Well I have friends but I prefer being alone, I prefer to live peacefully and not to be involved in anything such as social gatherings of our school, luckily for me I always keep a low profile.

Not until a schoolmate or mine insisted to be a friend of mine which I did not agree and the next thing I knew everyone in our school knows me. And the worse is that many are bothering me, especially girls.

It was hard for an anti-social like me to adapt on this new life of mine that's why most of the time I spent here, escaping the awful life I had here.

As I continued walking and decided to go back, I heard familiar voices and that's when I stopped and hide near the plants.

"Sinabihan mo man lang sana ako ng mas maaga para di naman nakakahiya gago ka" mahinang sabi ng isa na nagngangalang Naomi.

"Aba malay ko bang balak mo don na kumain" pang aasar naman ng kasama niyang si Samara I guess?

"Sa wakas makakaupo na rin" pabagsak na upo ni Naomi na parang pagod na pagod.

I forgot, beside from me, they also spend their time here. At madalang lang na maabutan ko sila dito. Dahil most of the time nas loob lang ako ng hideout ko nagpapahinga.

They never go farther than here that's why they don't know that a few walks from here there is storage room at the back part.

I don't know how they found this place and why they would spend their time here but as long as they don't find out about my hideout, its fine for me.

Pamilyar sila dahil sa parati ko silang nakakasalubong sa school ground. Minsan naririnig ko din sa mga kaklase ko na napapaaway daw yang si Samara? Dahil daw sa likas na pikunin siya.
